Nice job snowtrax. Enjoy this part of the year. I’ll get my bag of popcorn out with ya after work. Read all the comments. Cracks me up!!! Everyone have a great summer. Hopefully snow returns to MN next season.❄️
ОтветитьPolaris must have paid more again😂😂
ОтветитьTrail sleds....meh
ОтветитьWho is picking a smaller engine?! I agree with your pick but the engine has to be an 850! Great video!
ОтветитьI’m sure I’ve watched this episode at least 10 times, really want to justify buying a VR1
ОтветитьYou guys know it all, please tell me there is more videos to come. No snow, no new videos!
ОтветитьAre we getting any snow this winter????
Ответитьthis is the lamest opinion I have ever heard. And I am a Polaris guy. LOL
Ответитьcan u make two snowmobiles availible for me in india
ОтветитьThe only thing I don't like about velocity shocks in the front is the limited travel based on how the shaft has to be shorter limiting suspension travel due to the reservoir being so far down on the shock body... You constantly see these things crashing through There travel or the compression dampening has to be so high there not good in the sharp studders bumps,I just saw the review in snowgoer magazine and they confirmed my thoughts!
ОтветитьI have not really done much snowmobiling but I’m looking to relocate and pick up a hobby. Im not a large person. Where should I look? I would be on a variety of terrain. Should I check out the AC blast M or a 600 Indy or Ski Doo Tundra Sport 600? Perhaps you all have some input on entry level utility sleds. Any feedback is greatly appreciated
ОтветитьI bought my 2019 xc because of you guys and I love it!
Ответитьyou leave out one of the most important statistics...what do they cost
ОтветитьMy goal is to find someone to love me the way Luke loves Polaris.
ОтветитьSee how tiaga is not in hear lol because we need real gas powers sleds
ОтветитьBefore I watch the video I want to guess. I'm thinking the Polaris again, but I am also curious if another brand has won it lately, and if so when was the last time?
ОтветитьCause your Polaris fan boys
ОтветитьYou would think after 15 years of twitchy nervous front ends ski doo might try and fix it. 🤷♂️
ОтветитьI’ve watched numerous of snowtrax/dirttrax videos and everyone saying they’re biased towards Polaris is bs. They’re honest with every machine no matter what manufacturer they review. If they genuinely like the Polaris more who cares. The Polaris 650 should be the sled of the year since it was the newest thing in the market for 2 strokes. I own a Polaris quad and a Ski-Doo sled and I do prefer BRP products over Polaris but that’s my own opinion. Bottom line is these guys do a very good job with their reviews and they’re opinion shouldn’t make people ass hurt. Keep up the good work snowtrax!!!
ОтветитьNot sure where all this cant beat Ski-Doos reliability talk is coming from. I'm a long time Polaris guy that bought a G4 850 and all I do is wrench on it. Sucks.
ОтветитьIt’s been a couple of years since it’s been released and I’d love to see an updated detailed overview of the Backcountry X-RS 850 with the 154” track and hear your impressions. At the off-trail end of the crossover spectrum it seems like a bit of a unique machine with nearly all the capability of a Summit SP with enough trail manners to get you to the alpine zones a little more comfortably.
ОтветитьNo Way! You keep saying it but it is not true, You're Polaris biased. True shootout you would use random testers, nobody you know personally and at least 100 people not 4 that you screen to be polaris lovers. Have them ride all the sleds then everyone votes for there favorite based on there judgement too not your given list of catagories. then I would believe the results.
Ответитьjust snowchecked the 850. can’t wait until it comes in!
ОтветитьAgree, I rented a VR1 this past season and its the best handling sled I've ever ridden! I will most likely be purchasing a XCR 136 for next season (although the Lynx is right there with it)
ОтветитьWow....I bought the sled of the year.
ОтветитьLuke, you were very impressed with the RASX front suspension last year on the 2021 xrs. Did it close the gap at all with the AXYS front? Did it cure the "segmented" cornering of old?
ОтветитьThree months ago AJ was reviewing the Assault 146 and he said “Luke said that the Indy VR1 is the best riding trail sled he’s ever ridden”. I knew then that it was foreshadowing for this episode, my only surprise was the 650 engine. I’m slowly getting use to the new look as I loved the look of the Axys, perhaps in a year or two I’ll upgrade to a VR1. Enjoyed the reviews this season guys, would love to see more “shoot outs” next season. For now... bring on Dirt Trax.
ОтветитьReally! I wish I was one of your testers. I rode the indie XCR back-to-back with the ski doo renegade XRS.
I wouldn't trade rmotion for Polaris front end...
I wanted to like the Polaris better, but I didn't
Thanks for your honest opinion
You mentioned the Cat Riot X as a good crossover, but how about the Polaris Matryx Assualt? Is the Cat Riot X a better crossover sled than the Polaris Matrix SWB Assault 146?
Ответитьgreat job guys see you next season
ОтветитьLol, anybody that calls the power plant a “motor” loses credibility. They are ENGINES not motors. Engines run on fuel, motors run on electricity. The front end on Polaris is certainly not better than ski-Doo. It’s very good but Ski-Doo’s front end gets poor marks all due to the awful Pilot skis. They have sucked since day one especially in loose snow conditions. The new design is no better. But swap the poor turning Pilot skis with a set of Pilot R skis and the front end is improved SIGNIFICANTLY!!! rMotion is still light years ahead of Polaris CC rear suspension.
ОтветитьOf course the matryx won it. Polaris is the only manufacturer pushing forward. Cat and yamaha have been dead in the water for a few years now, and the gen4 is over due for a xs to xp type of rejuvenation. IMO doo needs to start thinking about serviceability, wrenching on them sucks, especially in comparison to Polaris. 11 years of procross? Loved my 12 f800 and could pull the motor in a half hour, but not a single aspect holds a candle to the axys while it's on the way out.
Ответитьbut, Yamaha got new skis?!!!!!!!!!!!
biased...
LOL
I don’t understand how sled of the year never seems to include sled reliability as one of the main reasons to get sled of the year honours. When guys are spending $15-22,000 on a sled you think that would be a factor in determining a “real world” sled of the year. We’re not all rich but want a new sled that’s going to be great riding, full of power but also reliable, which I’ve never heard in the same sentence from a Polaris snowtrax video
ОтветитьAre you sponsored by polaris or something?
Ответить...and the yellow bleeders commence crying. Lololol I guess I’d be crying too from all the nervous darting and twitching they deal with.
ОтветитьLuke, nice job, calling them like you see them. I don't care what sled brand you pick, they all kick arse. We benefit greatly from you guys and the manufacturer's. Thanks again!
ОтветитьHaha PolarisTrax TV, no surprise there, same ole same ole haha
ОтветитьHey snowtrax how’s your popcorn taste??🤣
ОтветитьWhat I would like to see is a ranking of where each of the sleds rank in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and so on.
ОтветитьGreat video. I don’t know why people get so cranky about it, i already know before i read “not surprised” no matter what the sled is is usually the most common answer. Polaris is in a phase, just like ski doo was a few years ago. Not sure why people get so worked up
ОтветитьI'm not surprised , but doo still sells more so everyone is different.
ОтветитьMy next sled!
ОтветитьFunny part is Polaris at my local dealer can barley sell sleds.. skidoo’s they can’t keep on the floor.. I believe the sales guy said he spring ordered like 100 something skidoo sleds last year and Polaris only like 50
ОтветитьThey talk about how great the sled is when it’s working, but how reliable are all these sleds that’s what I and many others want to know
ОтветитьKnew the Polaris 650 would win this contest when this sled was first introduced, a worthy winner in my opinion. Next years winner should be just as obvious, can you say MACH-Z!!!
ОтветитьLooking forward to riding my 2022 Matryx 850 XCR Starfire 136”!
ОтветитьAnnnnnd the winner for the 2025 sled of the year... Polaris... again
Ответить
