I'm not saying it's Maria's fault....NO WAY is it her fault. But, why would she go the home of the man who assaulted her for baby clothes. I wouldn't be anywhere near him. Just a thought I had. With that being said though, this is so tragic!

One thing I would like to know is Why are so many women raped in the military? My friend was in the army. And was raped. Why aren't more laws brought on for this through the military? It's not ok. Things need to be done or more things like this will happen. Disgusting how there isn't more protection for women in the military. Aren't we supposed to feel protected by these people? With acts like this I don't.

My god Marias killer is heartless.. to have a bonfire with her body with people over…. And use HER card to buy stuff to cover it up.. and even though it turned out to not be his baby he still killed this woman and what he believed to be his own child… what an absolute monster. 😔

I went to high school with Maria in our CJ program. She was such an awesome person and always had a smile on her face.
