XCOM 2 WotC - Covert Infiltration - Campaign and Mod Review

My only problem with reward interception is that when you get the mission to recover the missing rewards,you get nothing for the mission. I tried it this week and it has not been sorted.

I really enjoyed this campaign, and I’m definitely going to try covert infiltration on my next campaign. I don’t have the patience for long war, and this seems like a nice compromise.

I agree on the faction orders issue, it seems imbalanced that our “dark events” are permanent unless we switch them out, but Advent’s only last for a month. I think the strongest ones should be limited to continent bonuses. Maybe make it so chosen sabotage could disable a random faction order, so Advent has some way of interfering with them? Maybe require enabling permanent dark events to also make faction orders permanent, and otherwise having an expiration and cool down time before you can re-enable them? It would add to the strategy layer, I think, without requiring too much micro-management.

I would like to see a whole campaign with the star wars theme. There are a lot fantastic star wars mods in the workshop. You could make an almost full conversion into star wars. Third party enemy groups would be also great. I'm really like the black legion mod. This creates very intersting situatuation, where they go after you or advent, or even both.

Thanks for another great campaign. I really like all the content you are doing here over the years. I hope you go with the proficiency class in the next CI campaign including the weapon and item overhaul, I don't think you had that the last time? Combined with psionics ex machina I think it fits very well with CI. But anyway thanks again for your work and I am excited for the next campaign.
