I have Hydrocephalus, which impacts my brain’s ability to process information, think quickly, and speak without stuttering. How should I handle that? I have am trying to answer their questions on paper to help me answer them during the interview.

8th grade was the last grade I completed btw...G.E.D. man here. This is exactly how I got the job at Horseshoe Bay resort in Horseshoe Bay Texas as the lead supervisor of guest services and transportation 👍

Hi thanks for sharing your videos I'm finding them very helpful appreciate your work.. I am wondering can you refuse to answer this question.. because sometimes if people know your weakness especially if they have any authority over you they could use that weakness against you depending on the mood they're in that day...and some people are spiteful and malicious so they could exploit your weakness.. that is dangerous to you. Is it better to keep this to yourself?

Early on I started answering along the same lines -- "I'm a perfectionist and I'm always on the watch for that trait to make sure I'm not delaying anything important. But it's very helpful when things do have to be perfect." The good news is, it's the truth. Not the exact same and not in as much detail but it's served me well.

The best way to get to know someone is to have a meal with them. The worst way to determine if someone is a good fit for a job is to use human resource hiring methods. Proof? Talk to a business owner that has very low turnover. They use networking to get to know someone long before they actually need to hire. Only HR bureaucracy waits until the position is vacant to fill it with a "professional exam writer" as opposed to someone who has actual skill and experience.

I was recently asked what my greatest three weaknesses were. I could only think of two. One of the answers was similar to this,

What do you do when you are 55 and you show up to the final interview....the first in person interview, and it's obvious that that don't want to hire anyone older than maybe 30 or so. ? Happens to me since I was 38.

Whatever you do, don't answer it seriously.

It's so sad that this question is pretty much designed to get rid of honest and humble people, while keeping dishonest and overconfident people in the running. Telling the truth and knowing your own limits really is punished in this way.

As someone with Asperger's (an outdated word/form of Autism) I always struggled with the question: What kind of a 'team player' are you. I don't do well on teams. I finally came up with the response: A swim team or wrestling team, everyone in their own event, towards a common goal.
Is it what they want to hear? Prolly not, but it's a lot better than "I don't really do well on teams".
They REALLY don't like that answer! Lol

I once had an interview and it was awful. Most of the questions I was asked were that question in some form. One example was literally “if your friends didn’t like you, why would that be?” 😂

Genuine question/comment..."Prior to my application/interviewing process, I researched several competing companies. I carefully chose the ones that had strong benefits, matched my values, good reputation among current/previous employees, and those positioned for growth. I know the low-high range for this position. My compensation requirements should fully align with what I've learned about the value your company places on talent, expertise, and elevation a new team member brings to the brand.

My biggest weakness is being a perfectionist and believing in doing the job right or not do it at all.

My greatest weakness is my interview technique. I have a tendency not to highlight my strengths as much as I should, and occasionally forget to ask certain questions regarding the role. Recognising this i have prepared a great deal for this occasion, as its an opportunity I do not want to miss. If there are any skills/experiences that you feel this might be the case, please advise me and I will reattempt to highlight them.

That is a better version of mine. I would always say "Well... I can be a bit too much of a perfectionist which can sometimes lead to deadline issues." So I guess my version is good... which leads to bad... and doesnt fix. Yours fixes... So I think I will go with that one from now on.

A lot of times recruiters are paid for closed positions and thus really really want you hired.
