In days of disillusion,
However low we've been,
To fire us and inspire us
God gave to us our Queen.
She acceded, young and dutiful,
To a much-loved father's throne.
Serene and kind and beautiful,
She holds us as her own.
And 25 years later,
So sure her reign has been
That our great events are greater
For the presence of our Queen.
For our Monarch and her people,
United yet and free,
Let the bells from ev'ry steeple
Ring out loud the jubilee.
On my spotify listening record, it shows I listened to this absolutely beautiful royal piece, 2958 times on repeat in 2022. Deservedly so.
ОтветитьThis is brilliant!
ОтветитьMay she rest in peace, but may the honour that stood with her forever live on. God save the Queen.
ОтветитьSeason 3 is by far the best season of The Crown. I hope people eventually come round to seeing it as a true masterpiece in television history.
ОтветитьRest now, your Majesty.
ОтветитьI was sitting in the waiting room of the doctor's office when I heard the news report that the queen passed away. As I was listening this piece started playing in my head <3
ОтветитьRest in peace, your Majesty 🕊️
Will forever be THE Queen.
This is not the original track as the opening of the First Episode of Season 3. But it matches the first episode of season 4 upon the election of Margaret Thatcher and her first Audience with her majesty The Queen
ОтветитьSehr schönes Lied. / Muy bonita canción.
Ответить- What's your view of Jubille?
- You must do it!
Love it!
Olivia Coleman, an amazing actress. In the final scene, in the carriage, looking at her eyes, her face, you can feel all the pressure on her shoulder as the Queen. Just brilliant acting. And the soundtrack!

ОтветитьThe comments below tell it all. The music is both haunting and hopeful at the same time.
ОтветитьSoundtrack not Sountrack LOL
ОтветитьI just love the humanity behind the scene when we first hear it. Warming :)
ОтветитьSounds likes Mogwai
ОтветитьJ ai vraiment apprecié ...les premieres series ......Mais le changement de personnage destabilise...je n avais plus l envie ......
J etais decu
This track absolutely destroys me. Both the opening and final scenes of season 3 used this theme... perfect bookends.
I cannot listen to it too much... it's too beautiful.
I love this song it also played when Margaret Thatcher met the queen 😀
