Gigabyte Z370 HD3 How to update the BIOS, 8th 9th gen compatible wihout using App

With a lot of Gigabyte motherboards, there are 2 ways to do the update, 1) With the app...which means you need a hard drive installed...and all your Gigabyte apps and drivers. 2) Without the app..which can be done without a HDD or SSD.

If its a complete running computer with windows , How come you can't just download the file & Update ? Then you shouldn't need the thumb drive Right ? All the work is staying all on the same computer & Not a different New / Other computer .

i ordered the i5-9600kf 9th gen so what bios do i download? the most recent one? or f12 beacuse it say Support of future 9th Generation Intel® Core™ processors , or dosent matter all the same and recent one got more stuff+ my motherboard is B360 HD3

With the upgraded BOIS can I use a Core i9 (9th gen) in this motherboard? Can I upgrade it if I'm using that same core i9? Or it won't run unless I use a compatible 8th gen core first?

I upgraded from f5 to f14. The update seems to have worked as it is displaying the newer version, however I am now getting an unmountable boot volume error when trying to boot windows. Any idea how I can fix this? My windows drive and all other drives are detected in the bios.

Bless your mind, body, and soul for this video. I almost lost my mind after I thought my CPU had temp issues cause it won't boot unless I notch the cpu core to 1ghz. Now it works perfectly as intended and I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much.

Hey, i have i5 9600k and same mb. Using for more than 1.5 years and no problem at all. Today i tried to overclock my pcu. But seems like, overclocking is not working. Please help my i5 8400 runs fine I just bought 9700k I update bios to f13, there is f14 but I choose f13 because it says support 9th Gen, I put new 9700k in then it keeps lighting up cpu led not booting like it's looping. Do I need f14 the newest for it to boot please.
