Using the word Protestant to describe Christians that aren’t Catholic or Orthodox is EXTREMELY broad. Protestant extends from being Lutheran to being a Mormon.

Nothing shows the power of God like a Cathedral.

It's pretty but it often leaves me feeling empty. It also reminds me of the money they stole in order to build it by promising salvation to the person who gave their money to them in the form of indulgences. I would go Orthodox long before I go to the church who burned people for asking questions.

The beautiful architecture creates a facade, guarding the disingenuous nature of tradition in the Catholic Church. While the churches may physically be beautiful, their beliefs are far from the truth. What protestants believe is simply symbolism, the Catholic Church believes there to be some sort of divinity in these practices. No disrespect, but it is very cult-like and blasphomous. Repent and have full belief in the gospel, for that is the rode to salvation.

One of the reasons I hate the RCC (as an institution, not catholics themselves, I am one) is that they'll waffle on about how we all need to give up what we can to help the poor and needy, meanwhile they're churches look like this. Yes, it looks sick, but some things are more important.

I went to the Vatican and on the tour I took, they shared that the Vatican was built by sin. You could go pay ahead of time for your sin to be forgiven, depending on the sin, as some sins were more expensive than others. They then used that money to build the Vatican. On another note, the Catholic Churches are often beautiful and I hope one day catholics and Protestants can be good friends and that everyone accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! ❤
