ОтветитьThanks brad! Needed a quick understanding of PHP for class and this is golden
Ответитьbrilliant effort to help us learn php in a very easy manner
ОтветитьDon't know what you did there pasting in list items for the superglobals section
ОтветитьThanks, man!
I love you and your courses, done a few of them at Udemy.
I've been working in MERN stack for a few years at this point, I just got an offer for a PHP/WordPress position.
I think I'll take it, so there's a TONE of learning in front of me in a short period.
I'm about to start in 2 weeks, and it's for senior PHP dev, while I have never ever touched it so far...
I'm hopeful, but yeah I guess for the first few months I'll be a total impostor :)
Anyway, thanks for this, it's definitely useful and helps people.
I recommend your channel when people ask for simple, straightforward material that is easy to digest and actually leaves you with some newfound knowledge!
Taking my first steps into PHP. So no better place to start than here, with Brad whose courses helped me with JavaScript and its frameworks and CSS with it frameworks.
ОтветитьIt's great to see a professional doing a beginner tutorial. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьThis literally gave me a solid footing to jump on OOP in PHP and then Laravel. Thanks Brad for the time and effort it took you to come up with this awesome php-starter course. God bless you, man!
All the way from Nigeria. 💛
I also learnt to use Tailwind CSS from one of your tutorials :)
Bro I got the job. Thank's you're a G
Ответитьsuper sir great work thank you for help
ОтветитьWhat is the extension used for prompts, as you type?
Keep up the outstanding work!!
And also, I would like to know what other languages you teach.
Who is here after one year 🙋
ОтветитьTHANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS VIDEO.
REALLY HELPED ME OUT.
The best php tutorial i have come across..thank you 🙏
ОтветитьI always hesitated to learn php and my argument was , php is an old classic language with wierd syntax while I can create a full stack modern app with only javascript so I focused on react & express... but the funny fact , javascript frameworks especially react with next 13 made a full circle to end up functioning just like laravel which was there STABLE for years
ОтветитьPhp like Pascal, have this outdated syntax (Perl-like). I don't like it. Also all these dynamic languages moving to type system. Soft types was an error. But! write one page of code, and you have a form. But simpicity gives SQL-injections, code and markup mess.
ОтветитьThank you Brad! I really enjoyed listening to your voice the whole three hours. My brain and body feel very very satisfied. Thank you again kind sir <3
Ответитьthe whole live server stuff combined with php server but yet using the localhost adress in the browser is not understandable for me. And as it doesn't get explained I guess I will never know why.
ОтветитьI recently switched from windows to MAC and from Xammp to Mamp. Now I get this error message when trying to open the feedback project "Connection failed: Access denied for user 'brad'@'localhost' (using password: YES)". Any ideas how to rectify this?
ОтветитьGreat video it's working, Thank you so much sir!
ОтветитьBrad! you should come see what built just by watching your tutorial. I downloaded the tutorial last year but could not follow through. I gave it some time this week and I am amazed.
Ответитьis this based on C?
Ответитьa good lesson thank you and a big hello from Uzbekistan Tashkent city
ОтветитьI have been listening for 9 minutes and you sound like you know what you are saying and you are a good and intelligent teacher. I just hope I dont run away when thing get complex.
ОтветитьThanks Brad, I'm following your courses in the differents e-learning platforms and I'm learning a bunch. Great work :)
Ответитьactually PHP is a language /technology that is becoming obsolete fast.
when php was introduced, browsers were weak, had no standards. jquery was used to combat shortcomings. on server side jsp and asp were heavy weight n not free options. so the only thing left that was lightest, free, addresses the shortcomings of clients was php. and community created WordPress, myphpadmin and many others
over the time browsers become standardized.. newer light weight and free options were introduced. the world moved from presentation on server side to react n angular php got competition that it lost. it could not compete with client side scripting something it was never meant to be. on server side python, nodejs took by storm and jsp asp became opensource.
for client side devs php was a server side elephant. for server side devs, php is slow, bulky, awkward with 0 type safety and OOP and exception handling as after thought and a language that just playing catchup.
hence it is a dying language. maintenance work is there but nobody uses it for newer work
First tutorial I followed from beginning till the end.
Thanks Brad
Really awesome stuff. Thank you for the crash course. It helped me a lot. For those of who have access denied for user error when connecting to MySQL, be sure to input your port in the config.php in the $conn. example: $conn = new mysqli(DB_HOST, DB_USER, DB_PASS, DB_NAME, DB_PORT);
ОтветитьYou made learning a lot easier. Take love! ❤❤
ОтветитьThose who say you shouldn't learn PHP don't know what they say. As a computer scientist, you should learn a plethora of languages, PHP is one of them. Let alone that is largely used on the internet.
ОтветитьGreat content! Can you do a React x Laravel Course? :)
ОтветитьI am about to go to a job interview. Thank you for you tutorial.
ОтветитьI followed everything. Thank you so much, you're an awesome teacher
ОтветитьThe first and the longest tutorial I have watched, I was never into php but you did it for me. Thank you.
ОтветитьThis tutorial actually gave me new perspective about PHP. Now it doesn't look so scary and it looks interesting. You are great teacher, I could understand many things from this.
ОтветитьThank you Brad
I am very grateful to you.
