MLAPI Tutorial Part 1- Installation and Setup

For anyone finding this tutorial in 2022, there's an error that keeps popping up. I had to edit the install code to account for the fact that it is trying to parse "0-pre" as a byte (i.e. a number). Basically, if you put a substring statement right before the parse and after the split, it looks like it installs... at least up to the 12.1.7 version that is used in the video. (I didn't dig that deep, just wanted the error resolved)

Well, unfortunately, this double Unity editor is crashing my GPU almost everytime, so it's hardly usable, unfortunately.

Not having to build the whole game and being able to debug multiplayer is great indeed.

SOrry, can you help me with a problem? The player doesn't appear when I start client. Just appear when I start Host. And when I stop Host the player stay there, then I star Host again, and appear another Player. I can do this as I want, just appear players when I star a new host and I can't see the plater with the client.

Does MLAPI support host migration, i made a demo scene with player movement and shooting each other but when someone kills the host and host leaves the match, every client came back to menu scene . That should not happen game should continue with rest of the clients. Help me

Hmm, the Project Cloner doesn"t seem to work for me. Cloning and changing things works fine, but when i try to enter play mode the second project i press play in freezes and only is killable from the task manager. :/ Very unfortunate, looks like such a helpful tool.

Hi, can you help me - I was adding AR camera to your tutorial and a piece of code suddenly made Unity recompile and after that everything went to Hell. First my Input system didn't work. When I reinstalled it - my AR functionality was gone. I reinstalled that and now my MLAPI is gone. But after reinstalling it - it still says that I am missing an assembly reference. I can't restore MLAPI functionality.
I don't understand Unity. Why can't we have savestates to projects - especially if they are so volatile.

Why is nothing working out of the box in Unity? They announce it as the new system to use, but it's not even built in?
