Does the face reference work with the 8th gen iPad?

So I need help, I do have an iPad but the problem is my procreate version is 5X but I don’t have the same reference box as Brad Cowboy, he has the ‘face’ option, I only have de ‘canvas’ and ‘image’.

I think the glitch and wave effects could result in some cool effects in animation.

Scribble isn't a procreate update at all... Works in any text box, any app, anywhere. Perspective blur also not new. Halftone very useful for maintaining crispness when up-scaling low res raster artwork and gradients for low color and print work.

so helpful!! can’t wait for its release, could i ask what pixel screen size yiu use and what dpi? i’m never sure what to use cause when i zoom in further it’s always less clear and sharp, but on your comics they’re always so sharp even when you zoom in really far

I would be wary if I were Procreate about adding fancy little gimmicks that stem from trends. The glitch effect might look cool, but it is still a trend effect. Taking lessons from Adobe, the original effects in Photoshop were purely intrinsic from the photography world. Because these were primary and natural effects from the camera, it allowed people to use it creatively, building on multiple effects to create others without the need for specialized options. The glitch effect isn't intrinsic because you can easily recreate it with different layers of RGB and cut and paste. A blurr effect can't be recreated, therefore it is native. Adding effects for the sake of trends just creates software bloatware. Just ask Adobe today why you need to keep upgrading your processor every time they make a new release.

I want Procreate to come out with a vector program and take out Adobe for good in the mobile graphic format. Procreate will only be competing with Affinity. I hate Adobe. They're evil. Eviiiilll!

I have a question. Whenever I am using the transform tool, if I click reset, nothing happens! How to fix this?

After updating to 5x, I can't export a time lapse video of my drawing anymore. It's just forever grayed out even though the time lapse is on. When I check the canvas information it just forever says 0.0mb on the video. Anyone else?

I uptated procreate and now i can’t open the app because it crashes everytime... Does anyone have the same problem ??

I wonder what happened to the multiple open files feature? They mentioned it a few versions back but seem to have shelved it. As a storyboard artist it can be really useful to cut and paste between two open documents.

I just updated to Procreate 5X on my iPad, and I was really excited to use the Pencil feature for the new adjustments. However, when I tried to replicate what Brad did and clicked on the adjustment, it didn't give me the option to apply it to the whole layer or just use the pencil. It defaulted me right to the whole-layer option. Is it because I'm using a stylus that isn't an Apple Pencil?

Hey, they seem to have removed the recolor tool, which I really, really liked and used a lot. the select tool just doesn't do as good :( and the gradient map isn't really a good use case replacement.

I just wish I could use procreate on my computer too...

Do certain options only work if you have an apple pencil? I'm asking because when you go into the gradient map tool I do not have any additional options (like layer) They removed a vital feature and I can't seem to find anything that is suitable to use in place of it.

Literally all i needed from procreate. Also, no one is gonna talk about the mask feature? So much potential for SM mask creation. Great vid as usual!
