Helm Vst Demo | Free Synth for Trance Production

Just downloaded it lastnight as well as Vital. Both are awesome synth vsti's

Unfortunately for me, Vital doesn't run on windows 7 or 8.1...... so win10 and newer.... fyi

But Helm works flawlessly on my win 8.1 laptop with 16gb of ram

After watching a few tutorials for Helm last week, I decided to experiment. Then I realized I hadn't downloaded it yet. (DOH!!) This synth is full of possibilities. Glad I grabbed it. Thanks for the demo.

Too much talking...

I really like this synth but in my opinion, there's one major ingredient missing....the ability to pan the oscillators left and right. This is the easiest way to widen any sound and especially useful for pads.

How can I do

That ain't right that you used that midi clip to demo this synth. It was playing this amazing arp pattern which made it look like the synth was doing it to in the untrained eye but it was just a really fancy MIDI clip you were looping. It would have been a more accurate walk through if you just played the keys yourself. Even if plinking notes or holding chords.

Effects are garbage but using external effects really open it up. Great tool for a base sound

Pretty good for a free synth, nice and clean GUI. Somehow i can't see any resonance at the filter section, or did i missed that? :O

I've been using helm for a couple months now and it's definitely one hell of a synth , and you get so much for a freebie. Also such a clean interface !!
