Looking for the BEST way to achieve incredible gardening results in a small space? You've got to ensure your growing with the right tools and seeds and in this video I share both! Let's learn about the benefits of vertical gardening, enjoy a seed haul, and my first early garden spring tour of the year! xoxox Cassandra.
This looks amazing, well done!
ОтветитьWow I’m so glad I found your channel. I’m definitely going to use this! I’m trying to expand my patio garden and was trying to figure out what to do for containers and this is perfect!!
ОтветитьI ❤my Greenstalks.
I bought one the 1st summer of Covid and found out how much I can save, by growing my own herbs like dill, sage, parsley, rosemary, thyme, sweet and thai basil, mint, celery and also greens like kale, romaine, butter crunch, mustard, collards or roots like radishes and carrots... I wait till GS runs a sale to get a new set-up. Also, I am short! So, the 5 tier is too tall for me. I can only stack them up 4 levels. Now I have 10x 4-level GSs. I bought 6 of the lazy susan style bases and 4 of the regular bases with wheels over the past 3 years. Just need to get some extra wheels for Christmas this year, and some of the plant supports and maybe two of the 7 tier towers?!? 🤣 Strawberries grow in these towers like a miracle from on high is happening in my life! I can't tell you how often a neighbor will walk past my front yard and mention that they need an herb or some lettuce for dinner. I can literally just snip a few servings, and everything grows back even better than before. I am addicted to my Greenstalks!
Since it is November, I am about to refresh everything (running a month late for this...oops 🤦♀) and do cold hardy greens. My garlic and onions are already set. I place them in a tower in the regular base with wheels. This way when the temp drops below 30, I can wheel them into the garage for the night. Huddle them together, cover with plastic and run a few fish tank heaters in a couple of my 55 gallon water barrels, in the middle of the huddle to keep them above 30 degrees. Life is good!
Do you think I can grow inside my garage if I use grow lights and those pot you have on your deck. We have a very small season for growing in the upper peninsula of Michigan?
ОтветитьI need your help! I live in the Mid West and I live in an apartment with a huge balcony. Is this possible with a winter greenhouse?
ОтветитьLove the video and love the hair
ОтветитьDo u save seeds? And are they gmo because gmo means it grow fast but you can't regrow them.
ОтветитьI’m not even a minute in but I have to say something, this lady is so beautiful. Her skin, hair and eyes just caught me off guard. Her voice is also lovely and confident.
ОтветитьLove this! TFS! I live in DC and I’ve been wanting to start a small deck garden. This is giving me so much motivation!
ОтветитьI have a question can you plant any variety of vegetables or do they have to be say Bush variety plants, cause I have right now a cherry tomato plant that is over 6 ft tall and I don’t see how that could fit in this planter as well as some cucumbers that vines get quite long like right now I’m growing lemon cucumbers and the vines are pretty long. Also does it tell you which varieties will fit and which won’t
ОтветитьI am sold! I’ve been going back and forth about starting my own garden growing food and having free range chickens. This is my sign to go for it. My kids and I bond over gardening as well.
ОтветитьOkay I want to dive into this. But tell me if I can't, I live on the 2nd floor and I have a porch but it's not solid it's wooden on 2 by 4s and I can see below it, my neighbors porch. Would like to still make this work though, I love all your recipes 😍
ОтветитьNew subscriber. That sandwich looks so good 😋
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьCan you use the vertical growers indoors?
ОтветитьHow do you deal with critters like racoons etc 🤔 getting into your crops
ОтветитьYou are an awesome salesperson and a great teacher. Thank you so much for your thorough presentation!
ОтветитьI can not find the towers on the website from that link. I want to buy a couple but can only find raised gardens.
ОтветитьWhat do you do with your planters when the weather gets colder? Do your plants die? Do you cover them? Bring them inside? Quickly harvest everything then start over in the Spring? I'm thinking ahead we are moving into a new house with a deck and I'm getting a late start this fall and as a beginner.
ОтветитьVery informative! Thank you!
ОтветитьYou are a very good spokesperson!!! I WANT ONE SO BAD 🌸
ОтветитьWhere do I buy the planter?I love your garden ❤
ОтветитьWhere can I get this?
ОтветитьLove the video🙂. Do you have a video on what type of soul to use. Im just getting started and Im very nervous. I know to use soil for vegetables but what kind and do I need to add fertilizers and compost. My space is very small I rent a section of someone elses home and its about the size of a two car garage (my tiny home). I have my own walkway and entrance which gives me space for about two greenstalks but I will only be trying one for now. I really need help with the soil. I can handle everything else...I think🤔(lol)
ОтветитьI’m interested in learning more about the Greenstalk - but I’m comparing this to the more economical Kratky hydroponic method of stacking five gallon containers.
ОтветитьHave you done a show on how you do your hair??? Beautiful!💃
ОтветитьDoes your greenstalk vertical planters get clogged ?
ОтветитьCan this be started any time of the year?
ОтветитьI like to plant sun sugar cherry tomatoes the plants get really tall. Is it possible to grow those in this?
ОтветитьAnyone know what zone this farm girl is in?
ОтветитьFantastic video! (Popped up on my suggestions 🎉🎉🎉) Thank you!!!!
ОтветитьI want this!
Ответить😲, let's do this...
ОтветитьYour garden looks amazing!!
ОтветитьThanks for your videos and information thanks ❤😊
ОтветитьYour enthusiasm for gardening is contagious! It's refreshing to see someone so passionate about nurturing plants.
ОтветитьFellow Marylander. Glad your video popped up. I have the space but don’t want the maintenance…and the squirrels were after my buckets! This is inspiring.
ОтветитьNothing about watering???
ОтветитьWhat about during the winter ? How do u store them?
ОтветитьThis is so much better for me than Hydroponics. I must have one. I am growing in pots, but I like the cute factor and portability. Your narration went big to sell this, so Greenstalk should pay you!🎉 Thanks for sharing.
Ответить❤❤❤ very glad I came across your video. Xx
ОтветитьThank you for this video!
ОтветитьSo great that you’ve found a way to garden in a small space! Too bad to do it you use plants that are all gmo..
ОтветитьHello, what is the website for the green stalk?
ОтветитьYou are such a perky, happy, and lovely person. And make things seem so simple. Thank you.
ОтветитьI also live in Maryland and even though I have a fairly decent sized back yard, your videos make me want to supplement using green stalk planters specifically for my greens, herbs and maybe a few other things. Thanks for sharing.
