Client only wants to use Zoom or MS Teams instead of Google Meet

I have recently had two online meetings with supplier of software systems that could be of interest for my customer. Both have used Zoom. In these cases I used my mac mini, so Zoom is actually installed, but has never been used. Because every time I get a Zoom invitation and click the link a Zoom file is downloaded, even though I have Zoom installed. Why? Then it all ends in the same way. I click this stupid link several times and even try to open the local Zoom but it doesn't get I have a Zoom invitation so I must fill in the meeting code manually if I want to use it. So...I connect to the Zoom meeting through the Chrome browser. So why this local installation? I don't get it! Google Meet works every time! In the browser, because a browser is all i need. That's why I love my chromebooks and Chrome OS Flex computers. MS Teams is actually even worse than Zoom. This is a normal sentence in Teams because the interface is terrible, "YOU ARE ON MUTE" as if it would help to scream when you are on mute...
