Can you use PLA+ on this machine
ОтветитьHOW to connect usb
ОтветитьExcellent video. Thanks. Could you possible make a video how to print directly from the computer.
ОтветитьDoes it print textures too? Or just the Base colors only?
ОтветитьThis is my first 3D printer, and also my first experience with 3D printing in general, and your video helped me figure out that all of the parts that weren’t mentioned in the directions were replacement parts. I was so worried that I was going to wreck it somehow, but it’s printing the test models as I type, and it’s coming out great. Thanks a lot for this upload- and since it’s a year after you did, I’ll mention that the problem you stated with the cables being zip tied to the elevation screw seems to have been dealt with, as mine wasn’t. Or I’m just really lucky. Anyway, thanks again-
ОтветитьI did exactly the same thing just now with the cord in the motor
ОтветитьJust got it for $ 115
ОтветитьGreat video, going to assemble one of these tomorrow :) Thanks for sharing
ОтветитьHi,i bought the printer and set it up as you said but when i turned it on, it made the startet Sound but then went out. And it wont Start up again. Could smb help me?
ОтветитьThank you for this video.
My Anycubic M arrived today and I was confused by a couple of the instructions being kinda not-quite-English (plus a missing "red" connector… until I eventually found that attached to and buried under an underside channel!) but getting a few ideas from seeing how you'd set your S up guided me with my M and all is good.
It's printing the Owls as I type 👍
Thanks for the video, I encountered a couple issues in setting mine up, and that caused me to find your video. My issue was that the z sensor on the left wide was actually bent so it didn't stop on the bottom correctly, your debugging helped me figure mine out, and I had the same issue with leveling and the zip tie. Also your demo of the leveling process was much more clear than the instructions. I'm running my first test print now. Thanks!
ОтветитьI just turn 110v and now it won’t work
ОтветитьI cant seem to find the red cable. Do you know where it is?
ОтветитьJeezus.....you talked for 5 solid minutes about how your aren't going to do a review...and then proceed to review it.
ОтветитьBro you helped me so much I got the same printer at Christmas and I just got it set up thanks to you I will definitely subscribe
ОтветитьHi, I found your video very helpful and it guided me past my first issue. This printer is brand new, never used. I would manually set my temp to 230 degrees, then filament in, then start my print but every time I do that my EO temp drops back down to 190 degrees (factory settings I guess) and stops shooting out filament as it starts to print. Any clue how to fix this issue?
ОтветитьThanks a lot it help me take the first steps with more confidance than with out your help, really usefull I'm just printing my firdt owls to see how it works
ОтветитьDoesn't this model have an auto leveler? There should be an option in tools
ОтветитьMy parents just got my son one for his birthday. The owl on the left doesn't stay stuck on the table thing but the one on the right seems to be great. Do you know why this could be? Thanks!!!
ОтветитьDoes anyone know how to fix this? I've looked EVERYWHERE and no one has this model, it just keeps saying t0 sensor abnormal. That's it, it's brand new out of the box. I've done all these stupid little tricks everyone has done for their other printers but non of them work. Can ANYONE tell me what to do PLEASE
ОтветитьI just bought this printer as a Christmas gift and set it up this morning. Very easy set up, and like many others, the levelling is the hardest part but I'm impressed with the build quality and print quality on the owls. our cable was also tied, but we had no problems levelling the bed with it tied to the post. Worked great without clipping it. And yeah, it's noisy, but most of them are and the other ones I have looked at in videos were all worse than this one. Gotta say, it's a solid buy, especially for a beginning unit.
Also, don't bother with the included filament. I'm not sure what type it is, but the extruder would not melt it at 230. As soon as we used the spool we bought for it, immediately printed like it was born to do it. Thanks for the vid!
I have leveled this printer many times and whenever I start printing at one point or another it will start moving around as my first printer I'm not really sure what I need to do.
ОтветитьThank you for this video. It was perfect for me because I really struggle with written instructions that use static images. I nearly had the same issue as you with the cable stopping the head from coming down, but I removed it just in time! I also avoided the other cable issue by removing the cable tie in advance. Maybe that's why the nice side cutters were included. ;)
ОтветитьYou didn’t show to move the nozzle up on the axis very well and I’m stomped on how to do it
Ответитьthe needle is for cleaning the nozzle of the printer to avoid filament jams also dong let the filament get wet your prints will be wonky and wont turn out as well as they could
Ответитьhaha ty man couldnt belive it was that easy , wow they should say you level it that way somewhere on it without reading as much lol
ОтветитьHi there. I just wanted to express my appreciation on you putting out this video. Where 3d printing is new to us, it was ultra confusing on setting this up. Your video helped me and my husband set this up.
ОтветитьHi. U need turn off the print to level the Table.
Ответитьjust got mine two days ago Anycubic FDM Series 3D Printer 4Max Pro 2.0/Mega S/Chiron i watched your video and that really help with a few key issues as really the rest of it is pretty straight forward i am printing my very first 3d print the owls thank you for your info now how about the better software ? finding the best 3d prints to try and then make your own ?
ОтветитьKNOW DEW
ОтветитьGreat Video for the first impression and installement. When i finished printing, do i have to take out the filament or can i leave it inside the printer?
ОтветитьWill you be doing any videos on any upgrades you've done to the Mega S since you've owned it?
ОтветитьI know this is an older video but you should know that the bed cable is ziptied like that because otherwise the movement of the bed will eventually wear out the solder joints where the wire connects underneath. Tying the cable to one of the corner screws relocates the repetitive stress. Yours may have been cinched too tight at the factory.
I would advise replacing the ziptie (obviously not so tight) or finding some other way to anchor the cable to the bed carriage, before you wear out the solder joints. You do NOT want to have to resolder those; the bed is a giant heatsink.
All in all you picked a really good starter machine and made a good video about it. I've had an i3 Mega (near-identical predecessor to the Mega S) since 2018 and my only complaint is noise.
My model kept moving 😓 third time’s the charm I guess..
ОтветитьThank you for the time codes! :)
ОтветитьI love this man, your awesome
ОтветитьI actually have this model in the box, as it just arrived the other day. I've been delaying setting it up due to fear that it'll take a few hours, but this gave me the confidence I needed to start it up 2 days from now!
ОтветитьMine's arriving in a few days.
Ответитьi wish that printer was PUT to my face before i bough my ender 3 pro HUHHHH the S is on sale for the same price i paid my ender 3 pro FML
ОтветитьI don’t normally watch unboxing or setup videos for anything but since I have absolutely no experience with 3D printing, I decided to look for a video to save myself some cursing. I am glad I did. I love everything about your video. I have maybe subscribed to 10 channels over the last decade but I subscribed to your channel because I quite enjoyed your humble approach. You clearly possess a lot of knowledge about computers and making but didn’t feel the need to go on about things that weren’t relevant. I would like to see other videos related to upgrading the Mega S. Well done. Thank you.
Oh I also appreciated your promoting other channels who have helped you.
Great job 💯 agree
ОтветитьHow was shipping time/customer service from anycubic? I've heard bad things, but want their anycubic vyper.. :/
ОтветитьYou should explain in detail the leveling process
ОтветитьAlso it's good idea to check midspot cause bed can be curved (but I think that depends what kind of bed u use)
ОтветитьI've lerned to dont move prinetr by hands when you are leveling because you cant go back to exactly same spot and it may cause some troubles
ОтветитьAlso I had a small problem with that printer, when one motor didn't work, so i had to check whether all the cable connections are good and I found out that left motor was badly connected, so be sure to check them all before first printing.
ОтветитьThe cranking was scary when i first started too. Whew.
ОтветитьMy printer doesn’t turn on for some reason, it turned on for a couple seconds then never turned on again, why!
ОтветитьYou can use the level setting rather than using paper.
ОтветитьJust got mine a few days ago..the cable is also zip tied to the leveling base. Will remove before I level..thx
