Create macOS Big Sur USB Installer Drive

Good video, but already obsolete :-( The Apple Beta Software Program means "beta" versions and right now at the moment there is no Big Sur but upcoming version macOS Monterey beta. So i cant see how to obtain Big Sur full version image.

I went thru this process until it said install completed. Then the App Store was supposed to come up but it didn’t. I’m getting a screen that says MacOS Big Sur select the disk where you want to install Mac OS. Any suggestions?

When finding Volumes, you said type backslash volumes. You should have said forward slash or just slash. You actually typed a forward slash while saying backslash. Enjoying the video. I am not intalling the Beta, but I can figure out what to do with the real one - is that an Alpha? I didn't have the space for an upgrade on my 128 GB MacBook Air. And there was > 40 GB of Other. I figured a clean install would be much better than an upgrade in my case.
