Walmart has their own brand of chainsaws, Blackmax. They just happen to use engines made by Honda.......just saying.....

The terms “Made in USA” and “Made in USA with 90% or more US parts” are not compatible.

I would argue that just because its 'made by wix' does not mean its 'high quality'... sort of like people thinking their bridgestone tires from costco are the same as les schwab. the product is built to a price point.

Never had problems with wix filters and this is hauling in questionable speeds

just cut one open, make like a cheap fram. will not use again. There is a better one mine started with ST

The way that works is Walmart approaches wix and says i want you to make me this filter for cheap and wix says i can do that but it's cheap crap and I'm not putting my brand on it. Then they make it and Walmart sells it but it's not a wix filter.

My wix filter says made in china to wix spesifications. Lol

I’ve used Supertech oil and filters since they were branded “Tech 2000” and have had no issues.

No, they're stp filters....

They might be a little better than the orange Fram filter, but I will continue to buy Pulolator Boss or Fram Ultra. Much better quality filter for a few more dollars. Good quality filters and oil are much cheaper than a new engine.

Supertech and acdelco for a silverado are identical.

Good to know. From what I've read and heard on the Supertech oil it's not bad either. I don't think I'd be afraid of using either in my car.

A lot of their filters are also made by FRAM. I stick to OEM. Motorcraft filters can still be found for $4 each.

If they can use wix on racecars (Nascar) that says it all for me

I use them on my car and my lawnmower. No problems.

They're made by champion labs. Wix is owned by Mann Hummel btw.

Actually a great filter made at the same factory as STP, AC Delco, champion, super tech use them with confidence! ✊🏽💯

Actually the Supertech filters are either Champ Labs or Fram. Champ labs is actually Fram. Wix hasn’t made Supertech filters since the early 2000s

I always use supertech oil ,its great oil and can easily last last 10k kms.

SuperTech oil too. Good stuff. Full synthetic for the price of conventional oil at Auto Zone. And it far exceeds the API recommendation for my engine

dont sleep on walmart, everything they carry is usually made right beside the name brand, i stand on it cause its all ive used

hey man i just looked it up and wix says they make their filters from Mann-Hummel in Germany, the same company filtron and purolator uses.

but how can supertech use both wix (Mann-Hummel) and champion labratories to manufacture 1 filter?? who makes which part?

Those are fram filters.

used these filters when i did an engine flush as well super tech oil, only cause they were cheap. good to know that it was a better purchase then i expected. also i do like using the wix xp oil filters.

There is no telling what the micron rating of the filter media is! What if it’s 40 µm? AMSOIL quotes their rating right on the box, 20 µm at 99%.

Agreed the are 10k mile oil filters where most will be double the price at least with 5k mile rating

SuperTech filters and oil 2019 Tundra and 2013 Kia. Bought both new. 150k miles on the Kia Sportage no engine issues on an engine with dozens of recalls 😂. Tundra only has 33k too early to say. No issues just change oil every 5k to be on safe side. This 10k oil change leads to sludge buildup I suspect

Wax make very good filters

That's something lots of people dont get about private label. Most of the time, the private label product is actually made by the same company that makes what its knocking off. The company knows Walmart is going to find a manufacturer anyways, so might as well sell their products twice!

Wix diesel fuel filters make wonderful cheap supressors for 22 to 556 fyi

They are great filters! Especially for the money! Fram makes them now. Fram makes AC delco filter and also Hondas OEM filters

I was cheap and used supertech products on my Dodge charger for over 11 years. Sold the car after 203,000 miles was still running smooth. I never had problems with their oil or filters.

The filters are made by Champion and Wix, and they use Fram numbering.
So if your vehicle calls for a Fram PH10060, then the Super Tech ST10060 is the same application.
