I knew a Japanese host back in 2005 who lived in a nice apartment in central Kyoto and had a nice car. He'd get girls to fall in love with them and make them go on the game. I dont know how to feel about hosts in the morality aspect of it. In one hand its a fun thing to have some host dote on you, boost your confidence, and entertain you. On the other hand, they prey on peoples emotion and people can get addicted to them. All they say is what you want to hear but sometimes its good to have a genuine friend to tell you with no bs. Its a very expensive addiction as well. But the saddest part is not the money, but knowing that theres a lot of people out there wanting affection.

The same thing awaits the USA and all of Western Europe!
I am from Eastern Europe but I also accept the "values" of Western Europe and women, without realizing it, are becoming more and more lonely and poor - financially...

Always interesting to hear about the "hidden" side of Japan, the kind of information you never hear from the news.
I'm a psychologist and hearing about the mental health problems in the Japanese society is always fascinating because Japan has such a unique culture. For example host/ hostess clubs would never ever work in other parts of the world.
I think it's also important to finally normalize psychotherapy in Japan and eliminate the stigma attached to people that need therapy, instead of creating all kinds of services that only make the problems worse and only "help" people to pretend everything is alright ( like rental girlfriend, rental family, host clubs and so on ).
Like why not treat the root of the problem instead of playing pretend... ?

Watching this episode, recalls me of the case of the so-called «Anime girl», the girl who stabbed ›the love of her life‹, a host she had a crazy crush on, she herself being a hostess didn't make that insane amount of money for all the presents, gifts, и разните му глупави глезотии. She lied she had a suga-daddy, but in reality she had to prostitute to be able to afford all the very expensive and very useless gifts for her cru$h, which, of course, took what it takes frim her mental health, & took&took🔛&🔛 & 🔛, until the gal totally lost it. So, long story short, which I'm pretty sure you guys know better than me, so excuse me, the gal couldn't keep on with the pressure of doubbe, triple lives, sleep depravity, lots of *ish*, like she was almost a chainsmoker, although just 21, the prostitution, which painfully tears & rips huge parts of a person's mental health, not always, true, but more often than not effin for money with strangers turns u into very sad, sorrowful creature, who hates herself and this life of constant sx for cash, openly or hidden from her own self, she {I dunno about guys} becomes an entirely different person.

A big problem is Menhera, but the problem is not how you think it is. The actual problem is that society accepts that women "get psychological problems" from rejection when in fact the mental processes are very different. So instead of processing the mental issues, these women consider themselves "broken or dirty" and decide for themselves to never have normal relationships anymore.

It's really sad what women have to go through.
