2k25 is the only 2k ive been semi excited for and its because theyre done giving PC last gen and now we can see the modders take this game to the next level. Take two is pathetic. Modders who improve the game are the biggest selling point on pc. Im done with online. Im tired of buying my first build and it always being wrong. Myleague only moving forward

2Ks been hiding their true intentions this whole time, using the city as one huge pool for advertising for different brands so they can make more money. I'm tired of the city, it doesn't even feel like a next gen game, its clunky as hell. I just wanna ball with one my player again, tired of being forced to use limited mps. The greed ruined the game and i don't think we can do anything to stop it because the money is coming in from other companies now.

Bro no matter the news post, no matter the negative videos published on YT and any other negative stuff, within the first week of the game launch all the YT community people will publish the videos about new career mode all hyped about different builds. This leads to more sales of the game and nothing changes.

To make 2K realise their mistakes, the community needs to completely abandon the game. Only then the 2k would understand.

I have to, sadly, disagree with your final take on this. No change will occur until the player base changes first. We can talk about it until we are blue in the face, as long as people spend money on in-game items they will continue to push it. If the majority of the player-base just outright didn't purchase 25 or everyone went free to play, then they'd ease up. Otherwise, they only have incentives to make the practice more pervasive. If we look at 23, all they did was put on a poorly disguised ploy in the form of changes with the battle pass that they could ratchet up in 24 and beyond.

This just means they are focusing on 2k26

Honestly 2k is chalked. I know it’s unrelated but I can’t even tell you how refreshing it was the play CFB25 and not have to worry about any micro transactions, just straight grinding and fun.

I got a bomb 99 overall team and I just started playing again 2 weeks ago. Just did challenges and collected free season rewards.

i started back playing 2k24 yesterday after skipping the last 2. bro its so heavily focused to the point where you dont even want to do mycareer with out it. shit is terrible. im going back to live. even though its canned. 2k needs competition or they will never change.

The fact they have a pre order before they even show you the game play lets you know they finna finesse.

Look it's absolutely time. People can say what they want but 2 kids 25 it's almost feels like an hour never moment. We all have some ties to the sport of basketball and some type of way that's what led us to 2K. Whether it's through family members or just playing basketball in general. Or maybe just been a sports fan and found yourself enjoy the game. If you want this game to start to turn around for the better at all.. I really believe it starts now. People have to basically boycott the game this year. We have to basically force them to make VC price changes more favorable to us.

I just hope this is the beginning of 2k either ending or making a drastic change because it’s literally the same shit it was when my park first dropped in 2k15 just even more extreme now. Gotta pay to compete it’s just an exhausting model at this point

Stopped playing 2k because you need VC for everything. They even made offline career mode harder because of its integration with online. People who have been playing for a long time will remember career mode being less of a grind pre 2k14 (VC took over for xp points in 2k13). Hope this article leads to some change. Though I doubt it will

The grind became insane in the last couple of year edition, im not a content creator and dont want to support the VC hungry bussines models i feel they made it frustrating on purpose if you dont play hours daily or drop 100$ at least on VC every mode is unplayable

theres a lot to the dazzling lights and charming sounds when opening up such packs and lootboxes etc. lot of psychological quirks... this is all stuff that has been found to be researched by staff etc... they know exactly what they are doing... same with facebook and all the big farmers of sheep. they know how to tap into that nostalgic nerve, they know the charming sounds of your childhood etc. documents have been found with plenty of detail... entire seminars teaching things of such nature take place. its really ugly, extremely foul and absolutely extinct of moral.

I stopped buying VC along time ago cause it’s pay to win if you are a casual player and don’t have money to waste you don’t stand a chance in the park rec etc so I play my NBA and get my 99 player for free 🤣😂
