False info, custom augments do not affect weapon upgrade level under the weapon name. The max amount for custom upgrades is 5.

That's not how that "Level" works. There are 5 levels to Custom Upgrades. The level you showed is still the Level for the previous screen.

Not all weapons supports custom upgrades, you forgot to talk about that.

Is there a new way to unlock it?

Something I'm having a hard time finding an answer for is if divine blessing stacks/stacks independently with defense augment's mini divine blessing. Do you get 2 separate dice rolls at damage reduction?

thanks for the informative video! i am playing MHW on PC and am trying to prepare all the various weapons before iceborne goes live on PC. i was wondering how do old augmentations transfer over to this new system? For e.g. if i have 2 health augments on my Wyvern Blade Holly (which is the last Rathian LS available in MHW). If i were to upgrade this to the gold rathian LS in MHWI, will i automatically carry over the health augments i already have?

I can't do the augment I beat iceborne so what am I doing wrong.

I'm at the guiding lands and have gathered all the bone and ore materials from all areas but i still don't have the option to augment weapons.. i'm MR 47 and HR 147, do i need to kill an Arch tempered monster or is there a MR rank i need to reach? special assignment i need to do ??

Im still in base game, so, If I augment a weapon and then buy Iceborne, and I upgrade the augmented weapon, ¿Do that weapon keeps the augment?

i personally think that there should have been a custom option to change the blade design
so the glavenus blaze has the blaze design, but if you could customize it to be the normal buster blade, i recon that would have been cooler
that way it is still a GLAVENUS weapon, y'kniw?

That level indication you showed in the video explaining how many custom upgrades you can do doesn't have anything to do with custom upgrades.

The val hazak charge blade can get the odagaron look. I have mine currently custom upgrade lv4 with 2 element upgrades. I can go to 5 but I ran out of materials xd

It's better than the old system, plus turning my pukei sword into a coral pukei sword is gonna look cool.

I'm gonna able to tweak my sword just enough with health regen, more poison, and some defense, to really polish my current build.

Again good idea. Bad execution. They actually put rng in weapon skins too now. Lol hope you are lucky to get a decent attack increase with a decent look. So much wasted money on bullshit.

Correct me if I'm wrong, you cannot augment the acidic Glavenous CB right? I just finished the story, have the augment requirements but still nothing.
