Thank you. I wanted to know what is the difference between File>Import and File>Open. Are they the same thing?

Is there a way to add WAV file to an existing track? I'm arranging a bass line piece by piece in another software and every time I import a segment it creates a new track. I'd like to have all the bass on one line if possible.

My question is,... at 25 seconds into the video you say that "these two items cannot be separated" and also to watch the previous video #1 in the series, but I'm wondering: How would I separate them? though I'm assuming that I don't want to separate the two items. Is it by renaming them? Or by renaming them in a way that doesn't match?
