Lost Ark - Correct Way To Facet Ability Stones

Every time when I do this, 65% and 75% chances on blue always crack even 3 to 4x straight in a row. Meanwhile chance to hit the red one successfully hits with 35% or even 25% in 4x in a row. The Korean gewks really don't know how to design a proper RNG for the game.

ability stones are the worst imo I had a 25% chance, applied it to cracking and it lit up red 4 times before greying out! To me its just bad f-ing rng mechanics. Thanks for explaining it though I was super lost before your video.

problem is, more and more I see that the "rng" god of this game is like: "35% chance for you to get screwed up? lets make that happens 3 times in a rown... hm, 75% chance for you to have sucess? nah fail 2 times and get a red one at 45%" tripod skill is another joke, like 3 50% fail and one 10% on a skill you dont need now end up being a transfer sucess? that is not bad rng, is rigged system.

Wow, they worded it terribly, I thought the 75% chance of cracking was it not getting the skill. Man, they're stupid

why do I see only 4 facets on each rare stone? and only 5 on the epic. It requires me to have at least 11 succesful facets while I have only 10 in total. That doesn't make any sense. Or am I missing something here?

"chance of cracking" to me means chance of breaking. so youd want a high percentage on the negative button when you click it in order for it to crack more often.

it's horrible the fact this is just luck... You can't virtually wait for Your specific ability stone to drop: IT DOESN'T DROP... too many combination... so You have to buy and you buy it from the market: sure, until you have pheon... and you have to hope you don't finish pheon..
Nice at this stage you re happy for your payment and you try... and again it's about luck (just faceting 75% 4 times... failed all times... really ????)

This is already exactly what I've been doing and I somehow always end up with less than 5 of either of the 2 I want and 5 of the one I hate due to horrific RNG. Was hoping the 'correct' way revealed h idden mechanics that were burning me. blah.

Wow, now maybe you can make a video about how it really happens.... you know, when you regularly procc red nodes when you click it when it's <45% chance (which proccs more like it is 75%), and each and every red click thereafter proccs until you're stuck at 25%... Now you keep clicking red in hopes to fail and up your blue chances, but again, it keeps procc'ing, and you are left at 25% -35% for your blue rolls... Crap hole to try and climb out of... Got a video for that, or are were sticking with more idealized situations?

Literally no explanation on the actual system mechanic like the nodes just made a vid to talk about general probability of numbers.

I thought he was gonna show a table of the numbers and order u should click blue or red...
Turns out he just goes by,
"is it above 50? IF yes, go blue. ELSE, go red."

The red has a "chance of cracking" which is the OPPSITE of what the blue chance is. This means the %chance is for getting a fail on the red one and not activating a node.

You want to try use the red node while still having a good chance at "succeeding" the crack and keeping the % chance high for your blue tries.

The RNG in this game just feels so off lol. Countless times failing at 75% chance of success but getting a negative node at 75% chance of cracking, 3 times in a row.. it’s awful and you can’t change my mind lol.

I refuse to believe that anyone actually thinks that "hit them all in order from top to bottom" is a good idea, when we can see the rates right there with every click.

My stones avg 5/5/3, usually facet 2 of the same stone because rng lol. I’ve been running with 7/6/2. It’s like counting cards in blackjack. You just wanna make sure you hit red when you’re not feeling lucky. My best stone so far was a 8/7/1, unluckily, it was a warmup w/ trash engravings

Worth mentioning that you should also factor in the balance of your remaining attempts. You don't want to be sat with only the red to burn.

I would also view 45/55% as essentially always 50/50 and play it by the balance above and your gut feeling more than anything. With 75% being always your top prio, 65 being top or 2nd, depending on balance /feeling. 35 /25% red.

you have to believe in god, if you don't . you gonna fail 75% rate 9 time in a row

legen and relic is pretty good because the node increases up to 7-9 more

however mind the market value specially tier 3 stones which is expensive. this is the rng part of lost ark. which is not bad unlike other crappy mmo gacha rpg

Preferred Engraving: 75-65%
Sacrificial Engraving: 55%-45%
Negative Engravibg: 35-25%

how did you get to the screen where you could start the faceting process?

Faceting is been a pain, when I was trying to get my 5 5 adrenaline grudge stone I missed Grudge at 65% and then 5 times in a row at 75%, and with another one I succeded on the red trait at 45%, 35% and then 3 times at 25%, in a row.

The correct way is to use a calculator, no point wasting your time doing it manually.

A lot of people don’t realize there is the % chance success but also a safe guard of success just like with honing. Your 5th one no matter what is always a success no matter the % chance. If you watch the video as he’s picking watch every 5th one become a success. Knowing this as you pick your slots just make sure those 3 guarantee hits pick the one you want. I’ve used this me theif and have gotten the best results. Remember this most blues will only give x4 most of the time purple X5-6 and legendary 6-8 nodes and relics 8-10 on average if your going for two engravings at highest it can get. You can max out a whole row but you won’t get both even.

I like to do 75/65 on the preferred engraving and 55/45 on the secondary

I'm pretty sure the displayed % is merely fluff. The amount of times that I've failed 75/65 back to back but cracked 25/35 back to back is near to statistically improbable.

They should just call it success rate for both. Jesus christ why did they choose such a horrendous wording. The "success rate" at the top is in relation to the little blips that turn blue or grey. So one would assume that the "chance of cracking" is also in relation to the little blips in red and grey. But no. They mean chance of cracking as in a negative effect being put on your crystal. It's completely stupid naming and counter intuitive.

i did ton of stones. bought cheap with 1 trait i wanted for T1 alts. i can almost guarantee, that the system is pseudo RNG instead of true RNG. i even played around trash stone drops i had, trying to fail every negative trait, just to see if i can have it clean. I never, literally never, had a stone with less than 2 negative faceting. As if it's bare minimum that you will need to have. Also, only one stone i had abnormally faceted. t1 blue stone. i was able to get 6+, 1+, 3-.

so this video is for people lacking a properly functionning brain right ? because really, this is basic logic

why do a video about facetting effectively, then do the stones ineffectively.
