It's crazy how much practical information is crammed into this video. Thanks for making such an awesome channel. 👍
ОтветитьAbsolute Gold! I had a client who wanted to dicate how much I pay my workers and dictate how the work was going to be done, also have a 1 minute animation done for a small amount. On top of that he wanted a line item of how and what I charge, clearly he was going to use this as a way to bring my price down and go somewhere else. Needless to say I avoided a huge headache and I do not want to drink from the well in which him and his associates drink from. I forfeit the project for better offers and better clients.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this! Big fan!
However, as a solopreneur I can imagine what costs I may or should include, the problem is that the others don't, and are willing to work for much less, dropping the whole price paradigm way below a passable level, making all market participants struggle.
Hey Chris. We've met a few times. Nice to see you here. Do you ever bid feature films (3d cg / 2d )
ОтветитьJust meant to say, Thank you!!!
ОтветитьThis is on point thanks for sharing your pricing strategy, Chris!
ОтветитьReally useful, been trying to find examples like this for a while. They don't teach this sort of real life practical stuff in design or business school.
ОтветитьThanks alot Chris! Really
Ответитьoh man!
ОтветитьFantastic! In just a few minutes I learned eye-opening information. Thank you for sharing
Ответитьamazing insight - thank you for sharing
ОтветитьTotally get you on messaging. Always such a sink hole. 3 comps and broken out pricing for it is a rock solid and elegant solution. Magic
ОтветитьThank you so much, I’m bidding for my first app gig and this is so helpful 🙏🏼💪🏻🙏🏼
ОтветитьChris Do that was solid and opened my mind to the next level of bidding. IT was like the matrix! Do you want to blue pill or the red pill of bidding? Now let me show you.... AAhh the morphius of design
ОтветитьWelcome to daily "Blow My Mind"... Thanks Futur team!
ОтветитьYou know what’s crazy? I apply all things I learn from the Futur to my LAWN CARE business and to my startup consulting business I have on the side. YES! I said lawn care.
Ответить❤🔥🔥🔥🙌 Thank you The Futur!
ОтветитьAdvice of @Futur is so valuable to learn and create.
ОтветитьThank you so much!!!! I can now sort out my project fees with confidence
ОтветитьNice content, thanks :)
ОтветитьCan you make a video about the Dunning Krugger Effect?
ОтветитьThis is wow! So much informations ... Maybe i need to rewatch it again and again. Plus take notes.
ОтветитьIt's very good that you're sharing this kind of knowledge. It's help designers to grow and help grow design as art at all.
ОтветитьHey guys, thanks for amazing content.
Short question.
Who is the relevant person in companies, to reach out for website redesign?
Thank you.
I guess this video is going to be one of the most watched video on this channel... When I went through the template, I was like I don't want to go through all that but loved the Fixed+Flexible type. It's something I am looking forward to do with upcoming clients... Thanks a lot and eagerly waiting for the second part :)
ОтветитьGreat video. Thanks a lot :)
ОтветитьBecause of you guys the community is getting better and better. Thanks for sharing these tips man
ОтветитьWe Want Whiteboard Sessions & Roll Plays Back!!
ОтветитьSo much meat in this! Vegans will be mad. Thanks for this breakdown.
ОтветитьChris: “they are all variable and depends on the value you are going to deliver”
I really believe in this and I hope I could change my hourly working style to value based to make a good balance between the job that I’m doing and the my income.
How do u find clients that are willing to pay 16k for logo design😭
ОтветитьDo these videos ever have an impact when negotiating with clients?
E.g. do they reference it and try to push the price down?
I get the reason behind charging for workstations, as you want to make sure you are charging for all of your costs, before adding profit. But how far do you go? Why not include electricity and heating then? I'm kinda confused ... I'm putting myself in the shoes of the client and I wonder why you would charge me for your computer and software, but not the desk, chair, and heating of the room if that's your way of thinking?
ОтветитьCurious about how much they pay their designers though
Ответить5 min in.... I love you. Been needing this breakdown so badly
Ответить2 min in TY so much already. Never miss a video
ОтветитьAmazing!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьI was just talking about this. Great explanation. I hate variable bids!
ОтветитьVariable price ! I'm going to start using it immediately.
Depending on the final design, frontend development can easily take 2x more work.
Thank you for sharing this with us !!!
I bought the Futur's Perfect Proposal at the beginning of last year when I start freelancing after being downsized from an agency. After I customized it to me, it saved me so much time and effort, and got me a higher percentage of paying clients vs proposals written then my old agency. The only times I got push back on price was when I was asking for a lot more than the client could afford.
ОтветитьBid does not include: "3D animation of coffee beans"
)))) haha
Phenomenal content, as per usual!
ОтветитьExcellent. Can't wait for the next one
ОтветитьI'm a chef. I'm going to start charging for using the plates, utensils, napkins, restroom, table/chair, and even using my menu which was designed by a designer. LOL
