Вне конкуренции, но много вопросов
ОтветитьI love this guy
ОтветитьAn immediate 2 points bonus for it being Nicholas Cage? A true man of culture 🤣
ОтветитьTo be fair in Game of Thrones it's supposedly some kind of fantasy steel so maybe it behaves in a fantasy way :)
ОтветитьThe armor Disney is willing to pay for looks like tempered plastic...
ОтветитьI love how he tears apart "The King". It was such a pretentious, empty and boring movie and had such a big budget, but was nothing more but a silly fuckup.
ОтветитьActors (and their agents I imagine) like their faces to be seen on screen. They almost never wear helmets do they?
ОтветитьPeople have it right - he respects that fantasy has the "rule of cool" and treats it as such. However, when movies try to be "historical" he becomes critical. These could be multi-million ££ movies that just... didn't do their research. There is still a rule of cool for these movies - but real medieval weapons and armour looked cool too.
Ответитьwhich idiot choosed the mandalorian to show him
ОтветитьWith LOTR he’s like: ”This isn’t historically accurate, but it works great on screen. 10/10”.
With GOT he’s like: “This isn’t historically accurate, but it works great on screen. 0/10”.
How realistic is a suit of armor that people aren’t allowed to take off that can resist a laser blast and a plasma sword? Not very, I would say 🤣
ОтветитьToby's harshest criticism is still really restrained, around the level of 'oh dear'. You can tell when he wants to be really harsh, as he doesn't say anything. He just looks down and sighs. You know that his internal monologue is nearer to, "Oh what a pile of crap".
ОтветитьMando took it in the right arm and later on in the 1st season he gets a full suit of pure mandolorian iron. It's able to reflect blaster bolts and lightsaber strikes
ОтветитьÖtzi and Lederhosen, Leather
ОтветитьI give it a 10 out of 10
ОтветитьI find it funny he gave the mandalorian (baby Yoda show) and the lord of the onion rings a 10
ОтветитьToby armor and weapons guy it's seems I've grown quite fond of you in very inappropriate ways
ОтветитьMy god that gauntlet is sexy
Ответитьis there an advantage of those mittens over a normal fingered glove?
ОтветитьThis guy is great. 10/10
ОтветитьI think I smell a lord of the rings fan🧐👃
ОтветитьThis guy gives me a headache lol
ОтветитьThis guys like he shot the armor. And it didn’t hurt him. That’s how armor works 😐
ОтветитьBenda madieval pun boleh panik...
ОтветитьDo Black Shield of Falworth - 1954 next.
ОтветитьCertainly not weapons or armor, but I do have questions about the middle age.
Was it common for people to hang coconuts together if they didn’t have a horse?
Did people often get thrown into a fiery pit if they lied about their favorite color?
Hes an expert on mid evil armor not armor from the future
ОтветитьI think this is the second video where I have seen an expert giving bad scores to Game of Thrones. Videos like these strengthen my belief that I was right not to be impressed by GoT. For someone who has been consuming fantasy material since childhood, GoT is embarrassing to say the least.
ОтветитьHe gave 10/10 to all fantasy. This guy is just extremely biased
ОтветитьI can't believe they didn't have any scenes from A Knight's Tale
ОтветитьHussites introducing: flails!
ОтветитьDoes it have the Saxons going into battle on horseback, because they didn’t do that either. They rode horses, but they dismounted for battle. Also, it infuriates me the over usage of fire arrows. We all know they look cool, but you’re far better off just doing night arrows (way tougher to see, and just far more practical). Oyy, with those Swiss-Guard Burgonets I can’t even.
ОтветитьIt’s valyrian steel so they can melt and mold it
ОтветитьI didn’t even know some careers existed until I saw this channel
ОтветитьIs that a bonus 2 for Nick or a minus 8?
ОтветитьThe long chain flail reminds me of the Japanese scythe flail kusarigama
Ответить
