Sounds like something that came straight from the deep "Midnight Zone".

Plenty of 20 to 30s out there and I'd say that's big enough, 50 footers would just be
monsters that couldn't stay hidden this long.

50 ft croc. could very well be a possibility. Look at it this way. The average height of men is around 5'10-ish, but there are some men that get up to 7'+. Sooo most crocs are around 16 feet, so it's not out of the possibility that there are a few crocs that would be 30 feet plus.

I think the absolute max size these days would be 24-27' maybe a couple in the world out there. I've seen a true 20 footer in real life and that alone is mind boggling

You can become rich and famous if you can get one on camera. Locals and witmesses can tell you where to go. 40'-50' just seems like a wives tale. We cant find a skull or eggs? But then again scientists are constantly finding new species of animals

Its hard to say either way with lack of evidence. Those areas are not only massive but also extraordinarily deadly to explore.

WHen talking about cryptids this narrator shows his ignorance by saying that locals (that know the local, animals, etc...) as being wrong about size weight etc...of local animal populace. New species of animals are always being discovered, animals thought to be extinct are shown and documented as not being extinct but are making a comeback once again. the narrator of this short vid is an idiot in not believing and as a non believer has no business narrating a vid suck as this!!!!

A 50 ft species would have to eat very large prey and this likely would have been seen and recorded by now. I think it's just embellishment. Like all reptiles it would still have to bake in the sun to get energy and with a big body like that for much longer than normal crocs. None of this has been recorded.

Not very long ago, we once believed that in squid species, there couldn't be anything bigger than the giant squid currently alive in modern times until the colossal squid was discovered and then declared there isn't any possibility that there couldn't be anything else that'll be bigger than that.
That was the new scientific theory said, which was said by multiple experts & and scientist's until within the last less than ten years or so ago when another squid was discovered by pure chance that was even bigger than the colossal squid and was estimated by renowned experts to be 2 & 1/2 times bigger than the colossal squid and believe this newly discovered animal to be a juvenile and not even fully grown.
My point is... that we humans are very ignorant, especially when we get it wrong on new discoveries, which we do all the time, and are exceptionally arrogant also when we thought to believe of thinking that we actually know it all.
So, who knows for sure about this 40-50ft crocodile, other than who would actually know better than the actual people who have physically lived there and have undisputed history living there.
For they are they're own experts about where they have lived.
And that's all I'm going to get into on this.

How long did it take humans to get proof of a gorilla or panda - 80 years? they only live in one place, eat 1 thing, aren't nocturnal, def not camouflaged and in the case of panda, thick as 2 short planks. If a croc is wily - you won't see it and won't get close unless it wants you there. Remember the antics trying to catch Gustav - and he stayed in his patch.

1. Crocs can live ~70 years. 2. They grow their entire life. 3. The need only eat every few months. These things make me think some freaks would be possible.

Animals can suffer from conditions like gigantism, so in rare occasions they ca grow much bigger than normal.
Tallest man recorded was 2.72 m so i believe they are also huge crocs

Retired USAF aircrew here, Jake. Back in the 90’s we were flying photo recon missions in "East Africa”, very far away from human populations, and we regularly saw crocs 30'+ long. Some were noticeably wider than the hippos they were sunning with. We estimated these to be about 5' wide and 35’ long. Some were larger than that. Unfortunately, taking photos of them was not in our mission set. But we saw them, and we were very good at estimating the sizes of things. Take of that what you will, but I know what we saw, and I don’t misrepresent facts, unless absolutely necessary, and it’s not necessary in this case. Overall, a very interesting video! Thank you for making and posting it! Cheers!
