Thank you for making this video. It brought back so many memories. We all watched these shows because it was the only thing on at the time. We only had about 6-12 stations depending on your area in the U.S. - I was in Cleveland Ohio during much of this and we only had 8 stations and then Cable TV came in and changed the whole television landscape. Wow, so much has changed and what a magnitude of entertainment now. I can't keep up with it between all the stations and subscription apps. It amazing to see how far we've changed and grown. ~ again, Thanks for posting.

Is it just me or did the 80s do diversity better by and large, like it felt natural, never like someone checking list or just virtueing signaling or race swapping, original, rich characters, some funny some serious. Look at how many black lead sitcoms in this video alone, and its not even all of them.

In 2023, the 1980s were years of great movies, music and California Dreaming. Most people believed the World might come together after Communism fell apart, and we could build a better future. There were so much hope, faith and respect in the traditional family, moral values and hard work. Not perfect, since there were still alot of problems. But, compared to 2023, it was a blessing!

I've been trying to acquire as many of the old TV show as I can find. Man this video brings home how many I still have to go.
