If you think Beats suck, you know nothing about Beats. First of all, Beats never claimed to be an audiophile headphone, their market is towards the consumers - which is why their bass is over-emphasized, plus, their boss Dr. Dre is a hip hop artist, so bass is definitely what he wants to hear in the studio. People complain about Beats all the time because they are "overpriced fashion accessories", but so are Louis Vuitton and Gucci, and I don't see anyone complaining about those.
