Book Shopping at the BEST bookstores in New York + book haul

I wrote three books last year. Do try them. They are available with Strand Bookstore as well as Barnes & Noble but in the catalogue which can be ordered online not yet in the store

1. “Meditation and Spirituality a Philosophy”

Sub- titled - “Meeting the Himalayan Yogis”

3. “Social Pandemic”
Sub-titled - “A Terminally ill Modern Society”

When I visited New York City for the first time, I just had to check out the Strand. I didn't have a ride and needed to ride the subway. This was before Google transit, It was worth it. What was impressive is that they had a good selection of textbooks and technical books down at the basement. It is because they serve NYU and other universities.

I'm in love with Sarah Adams too! My favorite is The Match and I feel exactly like you said. We can see ourselves and relate to the main character. And I think it's so rare to happen. Also, she write the romantic tension like no one else haha

E-books and amazon hurt their sales sure. But NY has seemingly lost almost

glad im not the only one who 'visits' my favorite books in stores just to make sure they're there and well loved and cared for 😂😂 and YES book lovers have to look for the best copy, if you're going to buy new!! like what is the point of paying full price if it's not pristine???

I love this vlog ❤ I think we were in nyc around the same time!
But I get so sad when ppl who love book don’t want to buy a book that’s not “perfect”. Cos in the end, all of the books that ppl deem “damaged”, don’t get sold. Then the stores ship them back to the publisher and shred them…
After watching the k-drama “romance is a bonus book” I ALWAYS buy the most least perfect book. Because I can’t bare the thought of it being destroyed cos no one wants to buy it.

Hi Desi. We stumbled onto your channel last night and loved this video, us being book nerds and all (we actually built a library in our house). I noticed that you were in Rhode Island. This probably isn't a day trip but there's a very cool bookstore out in Western Mass. called The Montague Book Mill. I've never been but have other book nerd friends who love the place. And how can you not like a place whose tag line is "Books You Don't Need In A Place You Can't Find"?! Ha. Take care.
