ML is not too hard. The difficulty is overrated. You don't even need to be proficient in Math. She gives us the wrong information. The quality of your degree depends on a university.

If you are complete beginner i suggest you to not jump directly into ML or AI Software egineer but try to tackel other fields too yhen slowly transition to ML

For me i become data analyst tor first then switch to data scientist and now currently on my way to transition into AI engineering

Nice vodeo! Don't jump into AI just because it's trendy line hit me hard. True. Sometimes we blindly run behind the trend and not mastering what we are good at. As you mentioned yo get a job in Software Engineering seems easy than AI engineer. Btwn Software development is fun.

Interesting. Job market has changed so much... I am happy to enjoy life with the money already acquired. Unfortunately the AI hype will not last too long as AIs will not need anymore AI engineers to be built. It will generate itself. Interesting to see how we can saw the branch we are sitting on.

"if you don't want a good work/life balance don't do it", i understand working hard, but working all day long is just bs. Everyone should work hard their 8-9 hours, possibly doing something they like, and then go out, socialize, stay with the family, travel etc. But if you want to throw away your whole life in front a computer.. Enjoy it I guess 🤷

Your advise about becoming learning AI is TOTALLY BS and NONSENSE, all you are doing is making a video to make money and not really giving any good advice to become a Software Engineer. No one needs to READ A BUNCH OF PAPERS to become a software engineer, more so an AI Engineer. All what an up and coming person needs to do is learn how to code, get a job and get that experience and expand that experience by going to conferences or meetups......................

I just signed up for AI Engineer in Germany (for free, got a 4500 Euro scholarship). Why? Because i have some problems i want to solve and i want to learn AI. Don't give a rat arse about the job market. I'm a 55 year old IT software developer who started hacking nights as a pimpled teenager with my Commodore

No shit not everyone’s gonna break into the industry, I’m sure that didn’t stop you in your career to give things a shot

Anyway, bad video, click baity, negative advice

These tips were all awesome. There's an additional source of stress when working with ML/AI: you're handling probabilistic systems, and tail failure cases are difficult to predict even with a good evaluation pipeline and metrics. This uncertainty can bring a lot of stress when running ML/AI systems. Make sure you understand and accept that your system will fail for weird (or unexplainable) reasons, every now and then.

Hi, this 's the first time I watch you video and I feel that it's very helpful. I have a question and I hope to receive your answer. I am a 4th year student at a university in Vietnam. I've been working as a Backend Engineer for 1 year. For a while, I work at my company in the morning and learn about AI in the evening when I go home. I find that AI is quite interesting but I also need to work as an backend engineer for living and I have to impove my backend skill too. Is there any position which do both backend and AI job out there? If there is, what can I do to be like that? I hope to receive your answer, it will help me a lot for my future. Thank you!

I can see a lot of these newbies lured into getting into A.I Machine Learning and not understand what they are getting their selfs into or understand concepts. Same thing with DevOps and Cloud roles. I've seen people go straight to Cloud Certifications without knowing the fundamentals esp Linux, Programming, Scripting, Networking, Security and Automation. It's a hot mess once people face reality of who they are going up against. A lot the Cloud Infrastructure roles are often filled by seasoned System Administrators and Networking professionals with over 20+ years of experience due to a lot of overlap in skill sets. I work as a Red Hat Linux Admin which is often a stepping stone into those roles.

So I want to ask you some questions:
1)do ai engineer lead a peaceful life or not?
2)how can I become an ai engineer ?
3)does a person who is average in maths could be able to putup with ai engineering ?
4)what about a person who don't like maths?
5)does Ai engineering provide work from home?
6)what about like vacations and leaves of ai engineering.
7)what about work pressures?
