my arms and face have always been a shade darker then the rest of my body. but now after sun exposure over the past years i have now been tanned and my legs and back especially seem to be permanently darkened despite it being months since my sun burn. the rest of my body has become some shades darker too. it doesent seem to be fading atall

Just got back from a trip in Puerto Rico, and the upper half of my back, shoulders and arms is badly burned and tanned, while the lower half is still pale. I'm wondering how long it's going to take to fade because this looks ridiculous. I'm only going to wear long sleeve swimsuits from now on.

Wear cap🧢 and long shirt.prevention is better than cure.If u already get burned,use mild aloe Vera gel or plain yogurt or cucumber 🥒.

1 TBSP Gram flour, 1/4 TBSP white turmeric, 1/2 TBSP rose water, 1 TBSP sandalwood and 1 TBPS curd and a squeezed lemon. Leave it on for 30 min and then VWALA GONE. This is backed up by Ayurveda and modern science. Completely natural and safe (however don’t go outside for at least an op hour after because of the lemon). Don’t thank me just all in a days work. ❤️ 🇮🇳

UVB rays do not penetrate as deeply and these UVB rays are mostly what will cause sunburn in very fair-skinned people. Very fair skin will NEVER tan, they will only get sunburn. UVA rays will penetrate deeply and these UVA rays will cause production on melanin and produce a tan for darker skin types that have melanin producing cells.

I'm of south Asian heritage, and I'm on the lighter side but I tan A LOT in the summer. I don't mind, but us south Asians have an uneven skin tone, so when we tan we just look very splotchy 💀 I apply SPF 50 every day but tan regardless (living in England where we have very harsh sunlight), so as soon as it hits spring, I'm tan, and it makes me look splotchy, and makes my skin look super dull, someone pls tell me how to get rid of this tan on my face 🤡

HELP ME PLEASE.. almost two years ago I was by the water and I was fully covered except for the lower part of my legs and I got a bad sunburn. Obviously the sunburn is not there but the aftermath is I have not been able to get rid of these lines. Hi thank you for putting this information because I have been trying to do these home remedies to lighten my skin body it’s been over a year now and I still have the tan I went outside in the sun for a long time so I think that’s why by the way I’m 11 and I just want my regular skin back.

I dont understand the difference between tan and 'hyperpigmentation' in the sense of why would resorcinol, kojic acid, glycolic acid etc fade hyperpigmentation yet not fade a 'tan'?
