Yamaha Acoustic Guitars Overview

This is very informative because I'm trying to decide which one to buy

I’m left handed and considering a Yamaha acoustic, not sure what model to buy.

I have a Yamaha FGX800C, that I was thinking about upgrading. I went to Guitar Center and the salesman said that he also prefers Yamaha and that there’s know need trade it in, because it is a great guitar.

It is hard to imagine anyone in the world with a broader knowledge of current line-ups of guitar manufacturers than Chris. Really fantastic.

Just bought the FG800 after a 35 year guitar hiatus. I am learning guitar from scratch again, but I'm really enjoying the sound of the FG800, it plays really loud and clear. For a modest price, you get a great guitar.
Yamaha make good solid, modestly priced guitars, as they do with all their other gear. I own Yamaha HIF as well rock solid build quality.

I will order a "Yamaha Acoustic Guitar" for myself during the Holidays.

Honestly, Yamaha makes the best entry level acoustic guitars on the market.

These are for amateurs.

I've got an fs820 and a taylor 214, the difference between the two is very very minor.

I have an APX600, I had it set up by a pro luthier, replaced the strings with .011 gauge ones, I sanded the glossy neck finish to make it smooth and I love it!

The F310 is cheapest but for me it does not produce enough volume for a dreadnought, probably due to the cheaper woods used or more likely no scalloping

The mic input on the FGX830C sounds way better than the line input. You could really hear the bass. What microphone did you use in this video?

Yamaha makes really good guitars, especially for the money ! My brother has been playing one for fifty years.

Deleted a comment I made about the Junior range. I obviously didn’t know enough to comment. I later got a used high string classical and realised after further research, the yammie steel string’s action is fine. Just needing to get used to a steel strings. Came with a good gig bag. Think it’s important to be fair and rectify my error. While I am a beginner, I am happy with the guitar (the sound too) and just wanted this post to reflect that.

I'm visiting guitar stores tomorrow to possibly get my next guitar. I'm ready for a step up from my 38 yo FG345ii that's been there for me through HS, college and beyond. I've narrowed it down to the A5R and the LL16 but I'd also like to experience the LL-TA in person.

Such a shame that the FG-800 is kinda rare now in my place, I hardly find one. So I'm choosing another option the FG-200J vs FG-250D, but I can't seem to find the difference, do anyone know which is better? I will highly appreciate your feedback 💕 Thank you!

If you're on a budget, Yamaha is hard to beat. I bought an FG730s years ago because of how great it sounded even compared the more expensive models. Upgrade the plastic nut, saddle and bridge pins with bone and it gets even better.

Can Yamaha fgx800c be taken?
I first looked for this guitar and fgx820c . I couldn't get it so I thought I would take either Cort mr600f or mr710f

Both the Cort mr 600f / mr 710f guitars are very good in terms of specifications.
