Don't be lazy, do some basic research. Don't complain about non existing problems. Gaming does not equal productivity for about 99,9999% of the world, and by the way, this is not a gaming monitor.

Productivity means color accuracy (which is insanely good btw), build quality and resolution. This is for photo/ video editors people not gamers or TV watching.

Its a very good monitor, if you want to do all the bells and whistles of a premium monitor, spend the extra $500, otherwise dont spend time criticising good tech.

Who got a desk with a backboard or angeled edges? NO ONE! And there is no problem with HDR on this monitor or the 32GQ950 that I use side-by-side with it. I use SDR in desktop and set HRD in a game and when I start the game it should switch to HDR automatic.

The guy obviously didn't do any research or read the specs before hand. I mean the problem with the mount, it clearly shows in one of the product videos what issues you might have.

wrong information, there is NO picture-by-picture functionality in this monitor whatsoever. You can not get it by using on-screen controller app either. So simply not available. I was about to purchase it thinking I can install the on-screen controller app on my both devices and use split-screen functionality from two different sources. However, I verified from multiple sources (including LG customer service) that PBP is not supported by this monitor at all.

If you have a desk, where you can't mount a monitor arm, don't buy a monitor with an monitor arm, that is the most weird argument, I have heard for a while, it like if you shoe size is 10, then size 7 shoes won' fit. So don't buy these size 7 shoes.

His review isn’t bad, this monitor is a joke for it’s $700 - $900 price tag on release.

It isn’t a true HDR monitor, the color settings require actual calibration out of the box to have even decent image quality. It’s 60hz at 4K and 120hz at 1440p. And the stand is a piss poor design, nothing special about it and you need a very thick desk for it to clamp without adding a piece of wood or something else for it to be secure.

If you want a 60hz 4K monitor with accurate colors, you can get one for $200 - $400 without all of these extra worthless gimmicks that they really tried to advertise but all fall short.

This LG monitor uses a BOE panel. For LG panels, it's better to go for Dell U3223.

For your purpose you should buy a DualUp.
Also, the silly bit about desk clamps.... You should have thought about that before you bought this. Personally I have FIVE desk clamps at the back of my desk.
Also, it comes with a grommet to screw in your desk if you want to keep the backboard. If you don't want to screw anything in your desk then remove the silly functionally pointless backboard - and get a DualUp. And if you don't want both, get over your high horse and stop complaining!

How do you have any subs. This is the worst video ever made. This is not a gaming monitor. It doesn't claim to support any of the features you complain about. This is a work monitor for adults. I think you need to look in the toy section for a monitor for you.
