Queen - Killer Queen (Live at Earl's Court, London '77)

I've been watching Freddie all my life, saw him live in the 80s with my sister (she took me to see Queen, Joan Jett and Pink Floyd inside of a month). Anyway, I've always wondered what it is Freddie reaches for to the left with his hand on top of the piano. You see this most prevalent on Killer Queen (just look any of the Great singing it). He reaches for it by second word "keeps". I don't think it's volume or anything, not back then and would've been covered by back of house, so I've no clue.

I saw them in Mass in 1977.

Back in middle/high school, I was in percussion. 8 years straight, and for the last few years, I was section leader, including in marching band. I got to do some pretty cool stuff.

However, to this day, my dad will still bust jokes about playing the triangle. This entire comment section is my dad.

This is one of the better recordings of Queen live. Unaltered and pure. After 1977, I really don't know what happened to them. They defaulted to formula Rock, made a bunch of money, and their star died. Their best music was pre-1977.

All jokes aside. The triangle part was so good. We can hear Brian holding the note, and then John plays the triangle. Therefore Brian continues to play up and down the scale. Absolutely amazing!
