He made the right decision. A college student loan debt, especially one of hundreds of thousands of dollars isn't worth it. Cost needs to be a bigger factor, more than brand name.
Ответить“Ivy League” is bull💩
ОтветитьI feel really sad for him because it's not like he didn't want to go to an ivy, it's that the Ivies were too expensive. It's unfair for such brilliant people to not go to the college of their dreams
ОтветитьRepublicans are going to say it's because of affirmative action 😂😂😂
ОтветитьIt's good to get in those schools if its free.
Ответитьgigachad
ОтветитьI wonder where he is right now
ОтветитьBadass!
Ответитьlol why is this even news?
ОтветитьBased
ОтветитьDUMB KID! Alabama will strangle his dreams just for being BLACK. Where the Hell are his Parents? DUMB!
ОтветитьRoll Tide.
ОтветитьI know an Asian kid with better stats than that who got rejected from every Ivy school he applied to.
Ответитьgod bless
ОтветитьANOTHER LEE & LEE LAW & LAW SUGAR COATED LEGACY ADMISSION IN SINGAPOOR... BUSINESS AS USUAL,,, PERMANENT RESIDENT LIKE ME AND MY FAMILY ALWAYS 2ND CLASS... THE VERY REASON I DUMPED MY SINGAPOOR PR. NO POINT... UNLESS U COME OUT WITH MULTI MILLIONS OF DOLLARS... MY KIDS WILL NEVER APPLY CERTAIN SCHOOLS.
ОтветитьBased.
ОтветитьShould’ve went Ivy he blew it
ОтветитьGood for him! To be honest he made the best decision.
ОтветитьBravo
ОтветитьEverybody in the world including Ivy league white American students cheat on their exams. To do so, students deliberately have strange interests, strange hobbies, strange behavior and strange dressing styles. This way, students all over the world instantly know the answers for their exams or get the exam questions before their exams.
Ответитьfull ride to a good college is better than ivy leagues tbh
ОтветитьSmh these ivys be scamming
ОтветитьCollege is way overrated. My father has a master’s degree in Cyber Security & my mother is a community college dropout. She still made twice as much as my dad for their entire careers.
ОтветитьWow what a smart young man
ОтветитьWhere I go I know people that got acceoted to more perstegious schools yet decided to attend a state school of the cost! It does not matter what school you go to really only if you have the right intentions
ОтветитьMaybe the school will let Ronald make a basket like the molly coddled retarded kids.
ОтветитьBut I thought you can go to Harvard for free? Google it. My man got accepted on all Ivy schools but can’t seem to find out you can go to Harvard for free
ОтветитьThe only reason I can see to go to an Ivy League school is to intend on joining their law schools- where you make connections with powerful lawyers and politicians. Otherwise youre paying extra so you can tell people that you went to Harvard, thinking they will be impressed when all theyll really think is "wow that sounds like a waste of money"
ОтветитьGood thing he'll have no student loan debt.
ОтветитьBig ups to him! Proud of him. I'm hope hes doing well and saving lives, world, or doing something big for humanity!
ОтветитьSmart kid not to be saddled in college loan debt for the rest of his life.
ОтветитьI thought they were not using any of those scores anymore to get into college
ОтветитьGood on him!
ОтветитьHe reduced his lifetime earnings by…
Ответитьbased student
ОтветитьWhy he even apply then?
ОтветитьSmart man. Full ride
ОтветитьThis wasn't a snub , he was priced out because of his parents circumstances. I love capitalism...
ОтветитьAnd here I am struggling to pay back money from an associates in criminal justice that no one cares about 😂🤣
ОтветитьGood for him! On a side note, We had a neighbor kid who was class president and perfect score SAT and ACT - class of 450 in top rated public school district in the state - and he got rejected by every Ivy League he applied to.
ОтветитьSame the told me 4 yrs was 200k of dept. I stayed in state got a yr left and zero dept same degree. And have money in my pocket to take trips during breaks
ОтветитьGood for him ❤ he saved himself so much money ❤
ОтветитьWise and thoughtful young man.
ОтветитьHe is smart
Them schools is evil n fake .
If he had a happy experience and good outcome then it’s a fine choice for him. But, I think the analysis based just on finances alone is a little flawed. The networks and opportunities at different schools can crack open different doors. Could be worth more than the loans to some. I’m not saying that’s the be all end all, I just think it may not always be considered because it’s invisible from the outside.
Ответитьwhere is he now @abcnews
ОтветитьFellas, if Harvard gives you a rejection letter, just reject their rejection letter, they can't say no!
Ответить... so I'll be taking my talents to Alabammy
ОтветитьBiggest mistake of his life. Better to drop off first year from an Ivy League than get a phd from a non ivy.
ОтветитьWait!!! This was 7 years ago. I wonder how our good friend is doing these days?
