I’ve never seen a more ridiculous way to measure ingredients. That’s disgusting digging around in the flour like that. Get a scale and measure by weight like real bakers do.

Thank you for the recipe. I made these today and followed your instructions. I fried in sunflower oil at 350 deg. F. Half the recipe I made into "ring donuts" the other half I laminated cooled sweetened cooked chopped apple with cinnamon. I cut the apple donuts into squares then let rise. Both were delicious. This was my first time making donuts, I will make this again and again. Thanks for sharing your recipe and providing such detailed instruction.
