I love rewatching these playthroughs cause I love intricate games like this. And I also know that the Ringworm is only useful at the point where the risk of your card being eaten by the survivors is apparent (where you gamble to get maybe another power point at the campfire). If the ringworm is consumed by the survivors, then the survivors will no longer spawn in the playthrough at campfire, allowing cards to be fully upgraded at campfires.

By the way the ringworm if water by the campfire ppl it will allow you to fully upgrade your card on the next time you encounter them I’m pretty sure

It's funny, he played the entire thing without even getting up and trying to escape the cabin or discover the many clues or puzzles

For anyone wondering, the ringworm has 3 uses,
1.) Regular unit
2.) A sacrifice for the trial of the ring
3.) If eaten by the survivors around the campfire, they will no longer appear at other campfires which is best for Kaycee's mod early run

your supposed to make the survivors around the camp eat the ringworm, so that they die and you can fully upgrade your cards without any risks

Fellow idiots, give the ringworm to the campfire dudes, not enhance it, just give it to them, boost it as much as you can.

Could mark have made the ouroboros super powerful if he ketp sacrificing the squirrels and the amalgam? When he destroyed the moon, while leshy was waiting for mark to finish him off

I like to imagine that the game is aware of Mark's horrible strats and incredible luck so it made Squirrels overpowered so that Mark would draw them instead of drawing the main deck and let him know that this is the better strats

i know this is too late but anyone who wants to know may as well:
the ringworm should be left on the fire to be fed to the campers. for the rest of that playthrough the campers will be gone letting you fully upgrade a card on the fire

How can we get a deluxe version with Mark narrating it?

I loved this the first time I watched the play through I watched it multiple times then I watched pirate software… gave it a few months now I’m screaming at the screen at fuckin dumb he can be when he’s not paying attention lol.

MARK I KNOW ITS BEEN TWO YEARS AND YOU MAY KNOW THIS NOW but eventually you can choose to enhance TWICE at campfires, with a risk of the creature being eaten by the survivors. If you choose the ringworm and the survivors eat it, they get poisoned and die. Then if you come along more campfires, the survivors are not there and you can enhance your card twice without fear of it being eaten.

It took having infinite squirrels for him to appreciate the Squirrels haha.

Its moments like watching this after putting so many hours into Inscryption that I feel better about overthinking all of my plays

when you were getting the boons before the final fight of act 1, the ouroboros acts as a ring, so you could've won the ringed trial (ik im like 1 year late)

Fun fact the value of the ring worm is if you get the campfire guys to eat it then every other campfire that run you can use as much as you want so worst case scenario you get a buff 1 blood card
