Great review, sounds amazing. There's thing I'm wondering about. I had a Pioneer DJM-900 and the reverb could be turned on and off, but the tail of the reverb would remain until it eventually dies out. I noticed that when you turn on/off the reverb effect on this unit, the reverb immediately is turned off. Is there a way around that abrupt on/off of the reverb on this unit, or could someone recommend one that has a reverb that functions more like the DJ mixer I described above?

Wow sounds great. One question for anyone who has tried it. Let's say I have this plugin on the inserts on 3 or 4 different tracks. Do I need to open the plugin instance for each track to control it, or does it work if I just select the track I want to control without actually opening the plugin insert on the screen....then press the switches on the unit?

It’s really transparent! I prefer this algorithm over the Lexicon PCM. The clouds don’t get in the way. Sounds so good.

There are so many plugins on the market. I almost forgot about tc. But it's such a great sounding reverb (delay, chorus etc.). It's as good today as it was 15 years ago. Such a great company. (Now it belongs to Behringer :-(

Mister David, doesn't matter wich reverb i end using for drums that always sound not natural, like with phasing or something like that.. i have tried only side, only mid, with linear phase, everything... im lost

What a cool Trance Vocal

99% of you won't believe me, but I purchased a T. C. Electronics Arena Reverb (the black guitar pedal) for a church audio system, and after using it for several months brought in alternative reverb units in an attempt to upgrade the reverb quality. What I discovered was that the following reverb units were unable to equal the quality of the little black Arena Reverb from T. C. Electronics.

Lexicon PCM60
Rolland Rack mount 80's unit, used for about $100.
Lexicon MX 200.
Even the T. C. Electronics M 1, rack mount unit didn't sound as good, had a vibe to the overall sound that I didn't like.

Damn. Ok, so how does this compare to the VSS4 / VSS3 that come with the HD6000 native plugins? This is a lot cheaper but it sounds incredible to my ears.... Thanks!!! I should add that for those seeing this now, TC electronic has the DVR250 and three other effects are in a cheap bundle right now ($260 I think), but the DVR250 is just $90.... (The controller is extra, FYI) EDIT: Just watched your 1210 demo; yikes. So, the DVR250 bundle (includes the 1210) seems like a must have.

Nice verb, for the price that’s insane! Buy a bricasti M7 if you want the most insane reverb available! Changed my world, but was an additional $4800AU, so you got a bargain

The only problem with TC Electronic is that they tend not maintaining their plugins, happened quite often that you a TC plugin, two weeks later it doesnt work any more.

Does it have any nice warm vocal verb options? I’ve tried Altiverb but it’s sooo expensive

WOWW!! NOT ONLy does it sound superb but, the hardware allowed you to easily flip through settings. Seems alot more fun and keeps the creative juices going! Must buy!

It's funny, with ANY reverb unit you'll know when it's good or not when you push it too hard. In the beginning sounds nice but when he pushes it a little it sounds like any ordinary cheap reverb. For the price I guess it's good.

Problem with software is, it gets obsolete 1 day. Sooner than you would expect. That's why I buy hardware. For the price of the DVR you can find a second hand TC M2000 and that one will (hopefully) still work in 20 years. 20 years with software ? Yeah right.

I know this is a year old but it is $300 now wherever I look. Was it on sale for $200 at some point?

After a while of listening to acapellas, the lyrics disintegrate and it just makes me think that there's absolutely no real meaning behind the singing lol. Just seems a bit pointless
