Try Forming Siam as a shan culture nation. If you annex Ava at the start you get a large area for free
ОтветитьPronunciate your words
Ответитьzoroastrian persia is a great nation for military and economy, although you have to be careful when you are near a hostile ottomans. you can ally someone like poland and fortify your mountain provinces as well as upgrading the baku ateshgah fully for the space marines. also build to force limit so they wont attack you, i had to savescum once because they declared war on me when i had half of the forcelimit built. after the first war with the ottomans try to split them so you can easily fight them later and try to get the "this is persia" achievement
Ответитьi did the sunset invasion achievment 😎
ОтветитьIn my Opinion Date to Japan is great fun.
ОтветитьStart as Mongolia. Not Oirat to form the Mongol Empire, the green vassal Mongolia. I like it more than Oirat.
ОтветитьPersonally I did a Christian custom nation of atlantean culture called Atlas in Morocco and I'm trying to go colonial, it's pretty fun!
ОтветитьI haven't done a Sardinia-Piedmont game, but I'm currently playing a Florence -> Tuscany -> Italy game and having fun with that. Republican Italy just feels so OP.
ОтветитьI have over 4500hrs played in EU4, but I still absolutely love these types of videos
ОтветитьTy for that helpful ideas. Zulu seems to be very interesting beside Lithuania. I startete my first Campagne with Uesugi, quickly formed Japan with their ideas and now I'm going for the indonesian and Malakkan-Trade. Beside the fact you get very rich is, that I'm nearly allways 2 techs ahead of my enemies. Tech 7 vs Tech 5? no problem.. :D
ОтветитьThat map in the background is on my wall. It's amazing in quality. Can find it on etsy from a Latvian dude
ОтветитьBro, Just play the mod dei gratia, them you die of cringe after look at the bordergore and your Pc dies in cringe like you cause the historycringe bordergore is fatal, but the mod IS good btw and you can also use other mods
ОтветитьMy current goal is to go through and get all of the generic achievements - i.e., the ones that show up no matter which nation you start as. Currently doing Cusco --> Inca to get the sun god achievement! Taking ideas for best nation to use for the "we bled for this" achievement next.
ОтветитьWhy haven't you mentioned Naples? They're the most fun Italian nation to play as
ОтветитьThe Teutonic Order has been turned into a sort of joke.
The biggest problem I have is with the PLC - after inheriting Bohemia and Hungary, PLC stays the same. No flag change, no color change, no nothing. Just regular PLC, but BIGGER, without any new National Ideas, no new units for such a diverse state spanning three seas and a multitude of cultures. Why the hell does PLC still has eastern buildings, and why in God's name Slovak culture is in Hungarian group? ARRRGHHHH!. But it has to be said - with the bonus Lithuanian culture, 2 additional accepted cultures from the start, -10% to Idea Cost from Jagiellonian University, tolerance ideas are a no-brainer.
Would love to see a Norway campaign to get that achievement you mentioned.
ОтветитьNobody ever played as Nizhny Novgorod (releasable as Moscow)
I got my independence supported by Lithuania (had to restart like 20 times to have them be independent themselves) and (regular) Novgorod and allied Pskov (he wants to be independent too).
Then just dogpile Moscow one time after another right after truce ends. Then eat Kazan and from now on kind of regular russian region gameplay begins
Great video I would love more contents like this.
Ответитьyou can also form sardinia piedmont pretty easily as aragon by culture converting after conquering the necessary provinces
ОтветитьIt's a shame that even with that +1 cav fire you won't beat the top infantry armies (in the late game).
ОтветитьZlewikk please do Sõ pirate republic into pirate Japan run :D I would be plenty of fun
ОтветитьSardinia Piedmont into Italy is an excellent campaign which I'm currently playing. Rather than Savoy, I started as Provence.
If you don't state anything other new until you annex Piedmont as soon as they leave the HRE, you can culture shift very cheaply in the first 15 years or less. Then just sit as Piedmontese primary while you work you way through the insane Provence mission tree and have a ton of PU's before forming Sardinia-Piedmont as soon as you reach tech 10, where you then also exploit that great mission tree. I think this is the only way to get max -90% diplo annex cost in the game combining King of Kings with Ruler of Italy with the more standard sources (or at least one of very few).
Side note, don't sleep on the 2% missionary bonus in the Sardinia-Piedmont mission tree from 'The Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus' event, it's a bit hidden and requires some rng getting Curia controller but is very, very nice to have!
Just finished a Lithuania campaign. Man they are so powerful, forming the LPC and conquering all of Europe was too easy
ОтветитьAs for me starting as another tag than Savoy and culutre switching to Piedmontese and then forming S-P is better way to go :>
ОтветитьI've done a few Kono campaigns before, I learned that the best starting move was to not ally anyone so that Hosokawa attacks you (they've done so everytime) and then try to win the siege race and became one of the strongest daimyos immediately
ОтветитьFlorence>SardinaPiedmont>Italy>Rome
Very fun, very easy, can grab Achievements
Oda, to catch up for some achievments. just to mention: you can do sokogu law and christian japan at once. you just have to luck out and NOT get the christian event before the firearms event. not likely, but possible^^
ОтветитьMy first campaign in 2023 is Majapahit
ОтветитьCurrently playing as Italy, formed from Sardinia-Piedmont. Maybe next camapaign as one of the Daimyo s.
ОтветитьIn 2023, I try Kazan again to play Tengri conversion. It is easier than before all you need is converting Perm provinces with 0 maintenance. That's already a good chance for Tartar Hordes in 2023.
100% Kazan Flanking calvary is so great.
Can you do a government reform tier list pls?
Currently in my 3rd 1.34 campaign and idk what to really take, like perhaps the +1 monarch admin for 0.20 monthly corruption is viable if you take Espionage Ideas which give monthly corruption reduction? Idk
My first campaign of this year is Sweden world conquest😄
ОтветитьAs a Sikh I approve this video and the fact that Punjab has been mentioned in it.
ОтветитьAre you going to do more vic3?
ОтветитьHello comrade
ОтветитьAQ -> Rum and Big Blue Blob as first two campaigns this year. I guess some things never change haha
ОтветитьAs first I continued my Novgorod/Russia-campaign from Decrmber. Idon‘t know so far what to play next.
ОтветитьWould love more of similar vids to this. Cool nations to try out.
As for my first campaign in January. Started as Gotland formed Denmark through honestly pretty broken mission tree, then integrated Norway and Sweden
what map was taht at the start
ОтветитьI've played Lang Xang into Tibet into Siam I pretty much defeated the whole of Asia + Rusia and Poland by 1580, just crazy how hard that +1 cav fire hits
ОтветитьHonorable mention: Cirebon. Formable as Sunda. It starts with -20% core creation cost, 15% land morale, 10% land fire damage, 10% production efficiency and 2% missionary strength.
ОтветитьI like forming Japan as So, it can become a pirate nation & pirate Japan's navy is absurd
ОтветитьI disagree with rushing the LPC; if you wait until Muscovy forms Russia you still get a ROU CB on them, and they get their funky Siberian frontiers
ОтветитьI was already about to start an Ayutthaya run so now I'm even more excited
ОтветитьI just finished a short campaign I played with Ayutthaya in which I imposed a handful of rules on myself to focus on the diplomatic-vassal route:
1. No allies, only vassals (I can ally other nations only to vassalize them diplomatically).
2. Not allowed to take any provinces for myself or my subjects in peace treaties, except for core reconquests.
3. Not allowed to integrate any vassals until I am at the maximum of my capacity for diplomatic relations.
It went surprisingly chill and well, being a world power in 1470, achieving the white elephant achievement by 1550 (without rushing) and completing the mission tree around 1650.
I haven’t played as Norway yet, def will try
ОтветитьWhich country is the best to form Israel? I was thinking to play that campaign but i dont want to start as Ethiopia 😅
ОтветитьAnsbach is also an awesome and criminally underrated option.
ОтветитьLast year I did a game where I became a Catholic theocracy while playing as Otomo. Really fun and great ideas!
And did you know that Shinto nations can become a peasant republic through the Iko Iki incident? All you have to do is get the "open" ending for the incident and it will unlock the decision.
