Incredible. So many people are saying that class cannot be bought. I disagree. Class is taught, so you can pay someone who knows all the little intricacies to teach you what you must know about the foundations of being classy, then the rest is taught through the environment which you inhibit. These people have no vlass because they havent bothered to learn even basic etiquette or manners. They look so inept, so dishevelled, that I can't believe anyone can be that pretentious without having anything to show for it.

Russian oligarchs may not have been born with a silverspoon in their mouth but they were basically handed their wealth through corruption.

Seeing people driving on the left lane always makes me nervous. I could never drive in the UK or Australia, etc. I remember seeing 'Look Left' signs on the intersections in central London so American/Canadian, etc would not get run over.
There IS a class system in America. I can tell in an instant by speech and manners what class a person comes from here.

What is interesting is OLD money always act like they are better than New Money but they are just as flashy too me. They build these ridiculous sized homes (100,000 Sq ft) for no more than 5 or 6 people with hundreds of servants for those 5 or 6 people and to clean that monstrosity. Then they force their children into horrible marriages with incestous ties or with people they didnt like or to AMERICAN NEW MONEY... just to keep the monstrous house up and their " way of life" going. I always wondered why they did it.. I mean why burden your children with that debt and unhappiness? I think us " commoners" Romanticize that life too much because in actuality its nothing romantic about it. To me its a bunch of miserable people clinging on to their ancestry and those white elephant estates that are sucking the life out of them. Am I wrong to think this way? I wonder but I would want to leave my children and grand children a lovely estate but nothing too ostentatious so that they can maintain it and don't feel burdened by it. I mean a silver staircase ? For the love of all that is holy, that is absurd.. People are impressed when an aristocrat owns a silver staircase modelled after the French but when an New Money person gets a gold plated Ferrari, they are tacky? Its non sensical.. The aristocrats show off too just in a different way and one is most certainly not better than the other to be sure.

Without a Platform the 'posh and rich' are just as obscure as woodworm, hidden and eating away the very base of their existence.
