Personally I really don't like the conclusion in the end of video. Making the government more centralized is not a bad thing.
ОтветитьThe author is incompetent.
ОтветитьThat's why i don't like if some species listed in Wiki as living in Russia. Like Russia, where?
I don't think that's the reason of poor consumption in republics is related to some loss of autonomy.
More like - do you see how they are isolated from main markets of their resources?
Bashkorkostan and Tatarstan located close to european part and are quite developed.
Карельский народ (и другие народы Карелии) пережил наибольший геноцид, лингвоцид и ассимиляцию среди всех республик
ОтветитьVamaa Karjala!
ОтветитьПожалуйста, переведите на русский язык 🙏
Ответитьu forgot to add to russia chukotka and kamchatka on map, r u clown?
ОтветитьThese are colonies of the terrorist empire of Russia. Some have been occupied for 500 years.
ОтветитьО! Крым наш!
ОтветитьIt's not exactly a targeted removal of cultures and languages.
Russia is forcing people to speak Russian, but other than that, you're free to do whatever you want.
What happens here is a natural process of assimilation. A minority assimilates into the majority, simply because it's easier that way and because it's "cool". In the same manner, Italy right now isn't the Italy it was 100 years ago or, for example, current Russian culture is vastly different from Russian Empire or even the Soviets. A lot of cultures had adopted American traditions and values, in the expense of their own. As an argument, Russia isn't exactly against Islam (the root of the current Middle-Eastern culture) or any major religion in general. If it really wanted to completely unify Russian people, it would go around promoting Orthodox Christianity, squashing Buddhism, Islam and Catholic Christianity on it's way.
Plus, an economic model also matters. Current Russia is a centralized federal state (opposed to EU being decentralized federal formation) and it grows from the center as opposed to uncontrolled growth of EU. Because of that you can see Moscow being THE largest city in Europe with living conditions incomparable to the rest of Russia (with an exception of St. Petersburg), while there are also cities like Ivangorod which look like they weren't touched ever since WW2. As a result, many people move to regional centers for work or to live there and, due to that process, they are abandoning their culture and language. It hits one like a truck, seeing how your homeland doesn't have a promising future any time soon, however, the choice of this model is the most rational in the conditions given to Russia - rather than having a dozen of barely developed regions, not competitive to anyone, you'd prefer having one giant who's at least somehow competitive. Don't forget the size of Russia and it's population.
It also should be mentioned that there are two "Russian" words in Russian language. One is ethnicity, the other is "a citizen of Russia". They're often misspoken as one another so, in the end, while everyone who lives in Russia is a citizen of Russia (Россиянин, funnily enough the best word that describes it comes from Japan and sounds pretty much the same (ロシア人)), sometimes you see a Yakut or some African calling themselves Russian as an ethnicity (Русский, which is also word used for "Russian language").
А что это там за полуостров такой на востоке Росси...
ОтветитьNo, Russia does not contain other countries
ОтветитьFor all the People dunking on this guy
for knowing little to nothing about Russia's "internal Colonies" before making an effort,
I think at least some of the blame needs to go to the Picture
Moskva has tried to build to the outside world for the last 200 years.
Or they might go the route of Finland.
(Finland used to be part of the Russian Empire and most Finns were okay with that.
That was until the Tsar decided they needed to be made "Real Russians").
It's a shame that these countries had to become subject to russian barbarism. Russia is like a virus - no country that is part of the federation or associated with it are so by choice
ОтветитьRussian cossacks are those who made this country. Siberia was conquered by Ermak, head of cossacks at that time. Then cossacks just march to the Pacific Ocean and joined all the lands over Ural. They went on the South, so other lands on the North automatically became Russian due to no alternative. If you look on the map of Russia you will see a Cossack riding his horse with a sable ready to battle.
ОтветитьNo buryatia?!!! 😤😤😤😡😡😡dislike
ОтветитьOops! You included occupied Ukraine as part of Russia.
Ответить(Sakha or Sakson)
Ответить-8 градусов?) может -80?
ОтветитьSiberia will be free, we fight for our independence and we will be independent ! Glory to independent republic of Siberia!
ОтветитьAdygea is not =Kuban.
ОтветитьWait a minute, why did they never thought us these things in school? Wtf.... It's like discovering a whole new world.
ОтветитьCan you hire someone with a less thick accent? Your accent is so thick it distracts me
ОтветитьPeople opressed, colonized and killed by russia will be free
ОтветитьRussia is a colonial power that's why no one knows about different nations hidden within it! Most of those athletic groups were stripped of their independence , real history, language and even traditions and forced to be acknowledged as "russians".
ОтветитьSame things happens in afghanistan
ОтветитьWhat a ridiculous documentary, and what is US and from whom was it take hahaha, what about colonies of the West, russophobia at its Best, that narrative doesnt work anymore, what ever anyone has to say about russia can easily be applied to any western state
ОтветитьI recognize russia as a single country I love russia 🇷🇺 🇮🇳
ОтветитьTexas isn't a part of the USA but Mexican soil that got robbed. The rest of the USA? Only Natuve American soil. Only Native Americans decide who can stay and who has to go. And especially white people of non-jewish german descent have nothing lost on that soil.
Ответитьevery single one of these are Turkic and Kurdish people. Too spineless to go against yellow chick putin.
ОтветитьAs a Tatar, I can say for sure that all republics consider their territories to be Russia, and themselves Russians. I'm talking about most of the people, there will be people in all countries who don't like everything.
ОтветитьAcrica is not france / guam alaska hawai caribbean middle east is not usa
ОтветитьSo basiclly Russia is a continent?
ОтветитьThey are colonies.
ОтветитьRussia is still an imperial empire.
ОтветитьThe video begins with very negative clips depicting Russian people. How biased can it get
ОтветитьIs it really that different from the United States which is a collection of "states" that often have different histories, laws and cultures, united by one Federal Government? The U.S.A. even had a Civil War over their differences in the 19th century. Today, English is the predominant language but many many other tongues (esp. Spanish) are spoken.
ОтветитьShould do one on russias genocide of these populations
Ответитьbut the republics have a higher average population growth compared to the demographic crunch that Russians experience. I would argue that Russia will never get rid of their minority groups. Luckily, every time they tried another wave of Russification policies, they fail.
ОтветитьHey, so does America, California, New Mexico, Arizona and Texas, don’t forget the Indians, the Miccosukee Indian Nation.
Ответитьi feel sad for the chechens, yakuts, dagestanis, the Sami people, the crimean tatars and many more. they're facing russian assimilation.
Ответитьall in all, it's a huge piece of shit which has to be separated from each other
ОтветитьYeah, russia keeping us in prison (gulag).
ОтветитьWHEN DID ANEX BECOME INVASION.
ОтветитьSimple. If the person looks white , It's a Russian.
If the person looks asian , he comes from one of the numerous Asians people in Russian federation . If the person looks like he is going to kill your , je comes from Caucasus.
Simple.
By the way, where is the Indian native population and their republics inside the US? Or have they been democratically exterminated, placing the remainder into reservations?
ОтветитьThose "republics" are what we call "colonies".
ОтветитьLol, this didn't age very well. That's why it's called THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION. And we have seen in the last year how the strongest proponents and warriors of the Federation are coming from Yakutia and Buryatia.
Ответить
