Hi there. I appreciate its an old video but..I cannot get past the grey screen doing anything? Upon start up...trying all the methods given, I still have a grey led back lit screen but nothing else? I get the boot up gong but that is it. Any advice other than a dealership please?

Can anybody answer my question? I have gray screen on a Mac mini circa 2011/12. I’m sure it’s caused by my peripherals but what can I do when all I have is a windows keyboard? Do I need to buy a Mac keyboard and mouse to 1. Fix the issue and 2. Make sure it doesn’t happen again. Any advice welcome and thanks in advance 👍

Watching it and then realized I forgot to charger

I have a problem where whebever I try to turn it on it turns grey then goes black again and when I try resetting or opening anything it does the same

You wouldn't believe how i fix my problem: unplugging my mouse

so my mac top computer has color stripes and I cannot log in

I tried all these and still did not work. This is an old Mac book pro late 2011. There is a Unix Command utility that I don't remember that could help, I was hoping to see that in those numbers.

What of it doesn't even get to disk utility ?

Nothing is working I tried using the command option p r but it won’t work instead the screen keeps restarting and never showing me anything I keep seeing a grey screen that won’t go away I tried booting it into safe mode still nothing

When ever I try recovery mode it takes me to a grey screen with the updates progress bar by pressing the power button i can make it move and even completed but it never works with the other methods it just restarts repeatedly

so, none worked....

All of the solution can't work

Are these steps the same for Mac Mini?

My 2011 is stuck on the grey screen. Resetting PRAM/NVRAM does not work. Macbook just chime once and stays on grey screen forever. I was dual booting in Windows 10/OS X with boot camp assistant. While in Windows I selected OS X to be the default OS. After rebooting it got stuck on the grey screen. Can't seem to do anything to get past it. I put an older drive in that had OS X on it thinking that somehow the drive was corrupted. That did not help either. Any other ideas?

IMac 2013 loops on startup sound. nothing seems to work Cmd+R etc any ideas?

For those that don’t know much about computers, you talk too fast. Recommend to type the commands with each solution number. I kept rewinding in frustration

Hi getting the BLUE screen after newly installed SSD, - I need to install the OS High Sierra, On MPB 2011-12. It boots off the flash drive*- that has the OS H. Sierra installer -✅ . Need to acces the included disk utility on the flash bootable drive. BUT after 4 minute install process , it kick into the somber Blue Screen☹️.

It's was working fine...was finishing up working the screen went off, and restated and the screen was like yellowish en the Mac logo has a purple border around it like and the logo is highlighted purple in the border. when you like when you selected text.

I have tried all of these suggestions, sans the hard boot, and all I continue to get is the spinning wheel. The scroll bar never comes up. It will not boot into safe mode. I just keep getting the spinning wheel. I'm on an iMac 27", 2011.

How long are you supposed to hold down the 'shift' key in solution 3? The bar went all the way to the end but didn't progress to another screen or restart even after 10 minutes (none of the other methods worked either, solution 3 at least had the bar get to the end and not stop 3/4's of the way through).

I've tried every thing and it tells me in disk utility that my HD can' not be repaired.
I was a bit confused with the two Safe Boot options when I get the menu on the black screen the last line says HD cannot be repaired,but you say I'm supposed to wait until I see my desktop,and restart? I dont understand if I'm supposed to wait how long.
