As a CR7 and Madrid fan think he could be one of the greatest for sure but he rushed it ego ruined his career and for sure moving to psg was a bad decision wtf do you want you playing at Barca with the greatest team and having Messi in your team jealousy ruined him he wanted to proof that he can be a star without Messi at the age of 23 no matter what you can’t beat Messi as a CR7 one thing I love about Messi is he doesn’t care even if you ney beat him he focus on himself all the time he should’ve stayed in Barca to protect his image you can’t compare yourself with CR7 and Leo these 2 are from different planets

Ask anyone, I am the biggest Neymar fan, in fact the way I play the game will give you a clear indication without anyone telling you... Sadly Neymar is his own biggest enemy 😢then I would talk about people around him like his father. He should of never left to PSG 😢

I give my perspective about Neymar:

Neymar for me is the second best entertainer I’ve ever seen after Ronaldinho. His skills, goals, celebrations, games are just fun & impressive to watch. I remember the national game against Argentina in 2016 when he bodied just everybody from the Argentina squad. Even Messi couldn’t handle him. Like it wasn’t funny to me.

My perspective of why he leaved Barça is bcs he wanted to show the ppl that he can be the boss without Messi & Suarez. Bcs he doesn’t wanted to be the shadow of Messi. I feel like ppl are so much impulsive discrediting when ppl forget of what he archived.

He was a Top 10 player of the Ballon’dor as a Santos player.
He carried the whole Brazil to the 2013 Confed Cup & their first Olympia ever in 2016.
He putted PSG for the first in time in a CL Final in 2020.
He played in Copa America Final in 2021 & the Argentinas were so fucking dirty to him.

And I’m sure ppl wouldn’t say that his career failed if he won the CL with & the Copa while he won already for Brazil. Injuries were his reasons tho.

For all ppl saying „He should stay at Barça. He would def win a Ballon’dor“ i say maybe. But only bcs of Suarez & especially Messi. He would be shadowed just like Xavi & Iniesta. Bcs after 2015 Barça couldn’t get it done to win more CL trophies. In terms of „plays“ they’re the best trios but by „success“ no.

So in my perspective Neymar‘s career isn’t failed. He’s just discredited bcs he leaved Barça

I love Neymar as a person and player he is the best player. I support him all the way. No he isn't a failure. It's far from that. ... Unfortunately it's a very complicated matter. Things in today's football are too complicated complex hard. Neymar got unlucky...he doesn't have the fanbase he deserves the love he deserves the support he deserves. And Europe treated him very very unfair and cruel and bad. That's why he left

I'm Brazilian and Neymar made me love football, I remember how yesterday, when I was very young at 5-6 years old, walking out on the streets with that Mohawk hair, Neymar exuded the purest and most beautiful football art in the world,In the literal sense of the phrase from 2011 to 2018 Neymar was THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD, not in statistics, not in titles, but in football, just as Ronaldinho was elected not for titles or statistics, but for football demonstrated, the fact that Neymar is considered a failure goes by what he could be, as he is already one of the greatest in history, probably outside of 20, but no one played like him, only him and R10 managed Enchanting the world with his football, unfortunately he didn't have a great career, at 21 he had 130 goals, at 25 300, but he reaches 31 with less than 500,A player who, due to his talent, could end up with 700 easy goals, could easily achieve the feat of scoring 40 every year, going to PSG was not Neymar's "mistake",Until he did not do badly, the real problem was the injuries that took him out of more than 30 or 40% of his games, when he was well he performed well in the Champions League,The two times he was 100% reached the final with a dismal defeat against the German team Bayern, and missed the semis against Guardiola's city,But now all I can do is review past videos and remember that young Neymar with the crazy hair, and get stuck in the eternal "WHAT IF I DID THAT, WHAT IF I DIDN'T GO THERE, IF I DIDN'T GET INJURED"

I think Neymar should be a balon dor winner by now, by around his peak but it is unfortunate that Messi n a big of Ronaldo were in his way to holding a golden ball. Even if Neymar stayed at Barcelona i think he still wouldn't have had a balon dor due to Messi being Messi. And with Brazil, Brazil failed Neymar as they were poor defensivly n even 2 players missing pens to get them knocked out. I think yes Neymar failed to reach expectations but he has hit a pretty good standard. If he was born in an different era he would of won min 2 balon dors.

You can see looking at those fouls how many of them were intentional just to hurt him and put him out of the game.
Seems that many defenders would gladly risk getting sent off just to eliminate the threat of Neymar.
Well done Neymar, thank you for Joga Bonito!!! 🎉

The reason why new generation players are never going to reach their full potential is because they are being paid very high from their rookie season. When you are getting paid millions there will be no motivation to work harder. Regardless of whether they win or not they still get their paychecks at the end of the day

Career wise yes, money wise no, value wise yes - potentially, I hated hearing about Neymar when he blew up...but then I saw him play and knew he could have been the Ronaldinho replacement for BaCca but his life just too a diff turn...not entirely his fault, but he could have bulk up like CR7...use his money to add some weight on his body and work out...he might havr lost some flare but he would have been capable of push back against attackers.

Neymar definitely lived up to his potential. His stats are great even though one can say because of the era he is in allowed a more offensive game. But I think its social media and how his private life is known that makes you believe he doesn’t train. Imagine if social media exist in Maradona or ronaldinho prime days. Also Neymar comes out as soiled even for a lot of Brazilian he’s not likable. But imo Neymar is one of the great Brazilian and of all time. He also played in the greatest rivalries of all time Messi and cr7 plus the Barcelona vs Madrid those stories were more entertaining than the Neymar show.

Imo, Neymar's main problem was that Ozil joined madrid instead of barca. That also turned out to be Ozil's biggest problem because once Ancellotti came in he really struggled to find a manager who appreciated his skillset. At a team like barca, where every target man could double as a playmaker, Ozil would've been right at home. And for his assist rate, they could probably have gotten away with a back three; meaning iniesta, xavi, busquets, and ozil in the midfield. Which i'm sure would've been unfair, but a pleasure to witness nonetheless.
