What app do i use with the camera on app store now (2023)
ОтветитьWhen I first got in to photography a good few years ago, I took a couple courses. But the instructors said don't turn off the camera, as the camera goes to sleep. When you ready to take a shot, just press the shutter down half way down and it'll go back on. Reason not to turn off camera is so you're always ready, don't need to waste time turning on the camera
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video. I’ve returned to it multiple times as my Sony alpha6500 photography cliff notes bible.
ОтветитьWho still happy with A6500 in 2022?
Ответитьvery helpful
ОтветитьThis is how tutorials should be created. Excellent
ОтветитьExcellent video! Why doesn't camera manufacturers do it like this? Lots of settings I would never figure out by myself.
ОтветитьNot gonna lie, I have watched this 4 times and learn something each time. I am new to photography.
ОтветитьThank you so much for making this! Very informative
ОтветитьGreat video! Thank you.
ОтветитьOMGGGGGG I wish I came across your videos and book years ago. You’ve made learning digital photography so simple to learn and apply immediately tips and tricks. Thank you!!! Definitely getting all your photography materials. Thank you soooo much!
ОтветитьDo you have a video on doing videos with sony alpha 6500?…
ОтветитьThanks for taking the time to make this video, super helpful
Cheers
Complete Tutorial . Thank you
ОтветитьI don't recommend the A6500. I've had mine for a couple of years and it is a great camera. HOWEVER! You will get absolutely no customer service at all. "Play Memories" doesn't work with this camera. If I wasn't so invested in Sony gear, I would leave Sony. Unable to download firmware update. Sony sucks!!
ОтветитьIs there a lens for sony that can select a color while bluring out the
background ? desaturate the color background ? so I don't have to do
this in post? for VIDEO????
For good camera
Ответитьtkz sir
ОтветитьHi Tony! I think this video is so interesting and helpful for me, but I'm deaf and I need subtitles to understand, can you add these? Thank you :)
Ответитьhello, I have a question. So I tried the Apetrue part, my camera (sony a 6500) is on the aperture mode. However, when I made the aperture "f/1.8" it focused on all of the subjects instead of one. could you please let me know what went wrong?
Ответить3 years later, a girl finds this video and now she can finally use her camera, I am the girl. THANK YOU
ОтветитьCharming.
ОтветитьAmazing video and thank you! I trying to upload my pictures but it saying the QR code is not supported. Any suggestions please?
ОтветитьI'm definitely getting the book. I just got the a6500 with a Sigma 30mm lens and in picture (aperture priority) mode at f/1.4 the depth of field is fantastic. I am having trouble though with video mode. I switch from AP over to video and the f/1.4 is still there but the room goes somewhat dark, like some one turned a light off in the room. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Ответитьgreat
Ответитьgood video thx
ОтветитьHi Tony, how to let the camera focus on two or more people at the same time? I can't get it...
ОтветитьAbsolutely fantastic video. Very well done. I will watch this many times. Thanks
ОтветитьVery helpful
ОтветитьSONY Alpha cameras have the WORSE menu system and menu logic I've ever come across in an electronic device.
- Grayed out functions everywhere
- Photo and video settings are all over the place
- Video settings affect photo settings?? What?!
- Can't tell what modes affect what settings
- Illogical redundancies everywhere
- Touchscreen doesn't work for menu!??
This is an amazing video! Thank you for helping me better understand my camera and photography
Ответитьthanks a lot for that video!
ОтветитьHi can you send me a link to sd card which i can record for this camera a6500?
Ответитьthankiuuuu thankiuuuu souuuu muchhhh
ОтветитьI'd like to figure out how to use the built in flash as a trigger for my slave flashes. I think that would be super helpful. Not sure if it can be configured in that manner? And or if camera has a built in radio for external flash control. I'm guessing no but would be SUPER awesome if it did.
ОтветитьYour videos are so top notch. Informative, easy to understand, and you cover all aspects on all the products you review. Very professional. I gotta quit watching so many - I want to buy every product you review! lol I liked and subscribed.
ОтветитьBought this camera brand new for usd 800 in my country Malaysia.. My first actual camera..😊
ОтветитьGreat video and explanations, which are easily understandable
Ответить👍 on the video, but I gotta say, I’ve played with the flash a ton and I love angling it up with my left hand thumb and bouncing it off my hand at a 45-60 degree angle... now I get that’s seemingly ridiculous but give it a go, esp in B&W. Plus, if your lens is large and gets in the way of the flash this is a way around that.
ОтветитьYou're the best! I learnt so much from this, things I wished the camera could do...it could do, I just didn't know how. Now I do. Definitely getting your book too :)
ОтветитьThank you for the great explanation
Ответитьthat tip on having random spare SD cards lying around is gold. I've been caught up recently when I left my SD card in my computer and took my camera out to the zoo without it. So frustrating!
Ответитьyou need to allow subtitles in the video
ОтветитьThank you Tony - excellent video - very helpful. Now to put it to practice!
ОтветитьVery good video
ОтветитьBest part was the three pictures with the f-stop underneath and the picture of the aperture hole -- picture is worth a 1000 words! Touch screen on A6500 can't touch to go through the menus! I have a 10+ year old HandyCam video only camera made by Sony with a Touch screen that you CAN use to go through the menus? Why has it taken so long for camera makers to bring back the touch screens [that also flip around!] we had over 10 years ago?
