TRT nick. If we all could recover as easy
ОтветитьIditarod invitational 1000 mile foot race in the heart of Alaska! Peter Ripmaster a legend won it. I paced him for a 100 miler he did this weekend. You both should check it out and look him up. It would be awesome to hear you all on a podcast together. ✌️
ОтветитьSuch an amazing human.
ОтветитьDo a 200 mile + race for 2024
ОтветитьCourtney is a monster runner! Goals!
Ответитьlove how this is all about you, best part of the interview is when she just said that learning to ride on the trail means picking your feet up not shuffling along and then you told me exact same story as if it was your own. then when she said I like to turn the radio off, another boring self story of "when I..."
Ответить❤
ОтветитьGuess I need to try Peacock in a couple weeks when in Austin!
ОтветитьI run around lake Georgetown, and its nice to hear confirmation from the greats that that trail is very rocky. Im running my first 50k around November 18th.
ОтветитьA great talk. They interviewed each other
ОтветитьAmazing episode! Thank you ❤
ОтветитьAre ultras for people who aren’t good enough to compete at normal distances ?
ОтветитьLove to hear that even the best of the best trip over stuff and eat it on their runs.
ОтветитьCourtney Is The Goat!!!
ОтветитьGreat convo! I’m upping my miles, starting tomorrow!
ОтветитьI wish..no I pray..you would redirect that energy for human needs....too sad...so narcissist.
ОтветитьI didn’t realize people were doing lord of the ring runs in real life
ОтветитьShe could whip most guys at it all day and night
ОтветитьBare is saying about Gary robbins
Ответить15 min naps are best
Ответить🙏🏼💜🙏🏼💜🙏🏼
ОтветитьGreat pod cast as always. Was looking to put an order in for some products & trying to find the top you are wearing in this. Are you still selling them? Keep up the great content!
ОтветитьVery good interview. I really enjoyed it.
ОтветитьI’d love to see both of these two attempt the barkleys.
ОтветитьHow can you not love her?!? She is a great spirit! The most amazing personality!
ОтветитьThis is the best Courtney interview I’ve ever watched.
ОтветитьEver wonder why her interviews are always so short? She is boring and he'll and legit has nothing to say about the sport it's awful.
Ответить“The barrier to entry for running is just moving your feet. Now, how far do you wanna take that? It’s a different story.”
ОтветитьDon't know how many calories you have to ingest in order to maintain mass at 70 plus miles/week cause no matter what I get skinny. ;)
ОтветитьShe has great energy! No wonder why she is so successful.
ОтветитьI think there's a difference between doubting what you are capable of and realizing you just don't want to. I come here to understand what it is that motivates people. A lot of people I don't even like. I hate their personalities, their traditions, their beliefs, etc. I want to understand what it is, deep down, that causes someone to go through so much pain voluntarily. I understand what pain is like incidentally, though my own experiences, but not beyond as much.
ОтветитьGet David goggins on the podcast
ОтветитьShe's my hero lol
ОтветитьI feel like Courtney at the beginning of college...Last year during track I rekindled my love for running and ran more trail runs in the morning, during lunch, and after school. Will say trail running is fun and amazing.
ОтветитьGreat podcast man!
ОтветитьAs cool as that wall is, the orange glow on one side of a person's face is a little distracting.
ОтветитьGreat interview...the only losers in Courtney's life are the students that won't have her as a teacher LOL. She is pure class!!
ОтветитьThank you for this. I am doing my first 50K in March.
Ответитьyour a great interviewer. quality video
ОтветитьBest podcast I've ever heard/seen. Well done.
ОтветитьReally enjoyed this interview.
ОтветитьPretty sure Courtney is the coolest chick on this planet!
ОтветитьI'm an aspiring ultra runner, I easily run 15-20 miles on long run days and try to run a marathon distance run at least once a month. The biggest thing to dial in training and excelling at distance running is working on your cardio base. Meaning lots of 2 hr plus runs. After that its dialing in nutrition and hydration during your run. Also adding resistance training, meaning heavy leg days, im talking heavy squats, weighted step-up, leg centric plyometrics, deadlifts, and core work. Also adding Bench press and bodybuilding style workouts for overall strength and aesthetics if that's your thing. Hope this helps anyone out there.
Ответитьyou guys are
literally sick, i love it, one day!!!
Refining the love of running...exactly
ОтветитьJoe Rogan “so what’s your diet like?” Courtney “nachos, chips, hot dogs…” she’s so awesome!
Ответить100+ miles weeks.. damn, imagine having to buy new shoes once a month.
ОтветитьThis Podcast is amazing for several things but one thing stuck out to me:
There is this huge man talking to this small woman and in a "classical role picture" you would think he's the interesting one and she would be the interviewer but in the ultra world its just different. The massive "dude" is the pupil learning from this small woman the rules of ultra. Its why I love this sport. Its so powerful, so focused on the mind and it just crushes stereotypes. Its the one sport where anyone can search for, find and achieve their true potential.
I've followed both Courtney and Nick for a long time but seeing them side by side just hammers this message home. Great cast!
