hassle!
ОтветитьYes it cuts it off for me too. Makes it difficult to work . Frustrating
ОтветитьThank you so much for making this video!
ОтветитьThank you for this video. I searched for into seamless files. I am practicing using seamless patterns (purchased, not designed, by me) to make items for family and friends. I worked as a speech-language pathologist for ten years. I'm burned out. I've been working retail until I figure out what I want to do. I've felt lost for a while now, especially with limited babysitter availability. I'm wondering if graphic design would be something I'd like. I didn't realize this would pique my interest. I'll keep learning more about it. Again, thank you. Your video made a lightbulb go off in my head, and I appreciate it.
ОтветитьWas your cheetah art an inspiration for one of Kate Quinn Organics' clothing patterns?
ОтветитьCan you show how to make a half drop repeat? Thank you!
ОтветитьLove this! With the dimensions you used 3600x3600pixels, would you be able to make large prints say for wallpaper prints of the pattern?
ОтветитьThanks. :D
ОтветитьHoly cow! Such a great tutorial. Thanks!
ОтветитьLOVE IT!!
ОтветитьI love your hair!! It's so pretty 😻😻😻 also your voice is so calming. Really cute prints tbh!
ОтветитьOmg this is so satisfying. Starting my POD journey this year. Can’t wait to try this out. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing
ОтветитьCould we print a pattern created in Illustrator on fabrics or other surfaces? What settings should we be aware of?
ОтветитьGreat information! I'm just started to learn and your video was very helpful.
ОтветитьIf you turn the object to a smart object it will not get cut off in photoshop pattern preview.
Ответитьperfect just the information i needed to know! TYSM!! :D <3
ОтветитьSo helpful, thank you!❤
ОтветитьI keep messing up my patterns. They will look GREAT, but when I save them and try to use them, it only gives me my original square 😢 and not a pattern of it. Idk what I am doing wrong 😢
I am using the pattern preview mode on photoshop. Do you have to just keep adding more copies of it and tiling them together? I am worried I might get lines if I do that.
Thank you for your unbiased video! I appreciate you! ❤
Going to start making my own fabric patterns and this is exactly what I needed! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьSo inspiring and very practical! I’m off to design repeat patterns for my sustainable kids sweatshirts. Really appreciate your hot tips! Love from New Zealand ✌🏿✌🏼✌🏽
ОтветитьHi Sea! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, priceless! It solves my current problem with white lines! I struggle with them when I save seamless pattern directly from Illustrator. I see many designers switch to Photoshop to save to eliminate the problem. Thanks to you I know I don't need the AI at all as I can play with the pattern tile in Photoshop directly ❤️ Tell me, have you ever experienced any problems with white lines being printed on the edges of the tile once saved from Photoshop (for Spoonflower)?
ОтветитьNever knew about pattern preview! O_O I was thinking you'd have to use some offset scorcery...
ОтветитьI am your fan! I am studying fashion design and I love your content because it helps me a lot
ОтветитьWhile I don't use either of these programs presently, your video was very educational and a pleasure to watch.
ОтветитьIt's better to make a smart object of images and it wouldn't cut anything
ОтветитьSaved my life! thanks a lot!
ОтветитьMy first time watching you and I'm in love with your humidity and sincerity.
Ответитьgood! But how to rotate without broken line?
ОтветитьCan I do this easy on my phone? Is there a way to make my already made pattern seamless?
ОтветитьThanks for the video. I'm definitely going to follow your tips. Thanks for what you do!!!
ОтветитьWhich classes do you recommend of Skillshare?? Thanks
ОтветитьDoes anyone know how to create a pattern for a circle skirt? I'm having trouble since if I use a normal fabric with a design, half of that design will be upside down. I have an idea to create a circle skirt with a design running along the bottom. Like an animal running around the bottom of the skirt so if you were looking at the fabric itself, some of it would be upside down until it is made into a circle skirt. I hope that makes sense. I recently wanted to figure out sewing and I heard a circle skirt is a good place to start. But I also wanted to create things using my own artwork
ОтветитьHai. Iam curious your monitor behind you. If you dont mind may i know ur monitor is? Thank you
ОтветитьThank you for this, you have showed on this video some very clever info.
ОтветитьYou are very talented!
ОтветитьThank you so much for this excellent tutorial, I have been following you since I started having interest in bookbinding like 3 years ago and I still enjoy your videos. I have a question regarding your process in creating your pattern in Photoshop and Procreate. What size canvas do you start in Procreate when creating your art and what size canvas do you start in Photoshop when you are creating your pattern? Thank you so much!!
ОтветитьHi I worked out an easy way. I bought a newer wireless printer. I make one picture and then I send to print. It shows you an icon how many to print on a page. You click on the size and number of picture you need to print on an a4 page. You can also feed in to the printer sticker a4 paper of Your choice. All the work you need to do is change the colour printing to? Quality print? You choose..how easy is that???...p
ОтветитьThis might be a stupid question but how is she selecting all the motifs so effortlessly and moving them? I mean don't you have to be on a specific layer (because I think each motif is on a separate layer) in order to select them??
ОтветитьYou left me in the dust. I’m just learning photoshop.
ОтветитьAhhh thank you... this video answers my question that I just put to you regarding software! X
ОтветитьOMG LOVE THE PATTERNS
ОтветитьI think I've watched you almost 10 years now, since I was in Uni (now work 7 years)and always come back to check your inspiration, Love from Thai's Fan
ОтветитьThis is totally new to me so I find it fascinating. I was absorbed, if not overwhelmed and makes me wish I had had the opportunity to take this up years ago. No matter, it is great to watch an expert.
ОтветитьThank you so much for introducing me to that new function in Photoshop! Will definitely give it a try :)
ОтветитьAwesome
ОтветитьProcreate is only on apple
Ответитьyour patterns are always so cute!! I have a question tho what type of material you often use to make book covers? I always use cereal boxes but I want something sturdier as covers. Also how do you print your pattern on the book covers?
