He actually didn't know the name of designer, it's her new stylist Laxmi who selected his outfit (Hrithik's stylist before was - Anaita Shroff Adajania) .
Young actors do remember such things because fashion is very important aspect for them but as actor grows and become mature , they really don't care about fashion - Hrithik , Salman , SRK , Aamir , Akshay , Ajay - they are big busy actors and don't give extra efforts to know such things.

The designer put his/her all effort to make him look so classy and when it came to appreciate their work he was like "i don't know, I don't even remember their name".......
