English is not my native language and sometimes its difficult for me to understand what people speak if they speak too fast or have problems with pronunciation. But this time I had 11 minutes of relax because didn't have necessity to stop video and repeat some of its part and was able to just listen and learn new interesting things about playing the piano. Real thanks to you for that!

Unfortunately. Since we moved to a much smaller place we no longer have room for a proper piano. I have an electric key board. There's no pedal. I've only just taken up playing the keyboard once again after many years. I LOVE IT

Takeaway: Piano is like pizza - even when it’s ‘bad’ it’s still pretty good.
Follow-up: Does not apply to singing, guitar, drums, bass, strings, horns. DOES apply to Harp.
Trivia: a Harp is basically a piano that you pluck instead of hammering. Theory holds up.

So, one MAJOR thing that can hold you back as intermediate player. Meaning you already know you want to play more and you are good at the piano. You absolutely must have hammer weighted keys and a sustain pedal. Without those your music will never come together, because the resistance of the keys will not only make it a lot more fun, but also make it MUCH EASIER to play dynamics and emotions. As for learning songs. The most important thing is to SLOW RIGHT DOWN as mentioned in the video. Do not make mistakes learning the basics or it will take 10x as long to unlearn mistakes.
Slow is smooth and smooth is fast never fit better.
After not playing for 4 years, I am finally coming back and it is absolutely true what they say. Playing piano is like riding a bicycle, you never forget how, you just need to relearn the precision and dexterity.

Heyyy this is the exact way I learned piano... Every single steps he said would be the same advice I would give my friend.... One thing that helped me learn faster with these methods was I started playing following what I hear... So I do spend time listening to certain unique song like Beethoven's over and over until I can play certain part and after some time when I can... I don't stop but I try to master what I already know... Found this video by accident and yeah it gave me a whole flashback of how I learned... His methods does work very well!! ✨
