As long as this photo took to put together, it was super satisfying. Would you try this?
ОтветитьWay to complex
ОтветитьGreat video! You didn’t talk about the polarizer you had on the lens.
ОтветитьGreat work. Thank you for sharing the photoshop tutorial. May I suggest shooting with multiple strobes to speed up post? Just a thought.
ОтветитьWhy not just shoot one shot w/ a big Chimera softbox then edit in LR & PS - the final product would look much better.
ОтветитьGreat video Lizzie, thanks for making it
ОтветитьNot to be mean or anything but honestly the final result just looks very weird and artificial to me.
ОтветитьCan you do a video on sony a7iii settings for car photography please?
ОтветитьAbsolutely amazing work Lizzie. Did you use a polarizer on your lens though and does it particularly help with the opaque effect on the car windows?
Ответитьlizzie no disrespect to ur man if you got one. but u deff one good looking photographer
ОтветитьVery helpful and informative. Thanks for the information.
Ответитьwanted to stop by and say thank you!
ОтветитьBeautiful work Lizzie!
ОтветитьTo be fairly honest I find the only two useful tools I need to shoot a car in the outdoors are a tripod and a CPL filter. Adding lights really just complicate things and takes more time to setup. I tend to bracket my shots from dark to bright and in photoshop I just layer the photos and brush in what I want and leave out the rest. I can work much quicker without a light and produce stunning images BUT if it works for you, go for it. Lovely photos by the way.
ОтветитьThanks for this. So, maybe you can talk about strobes in a future video? Will a 100w battery powered strobe work? Especially in the darker areas or time of day?
ОтветитьI love MPB.
ОтветитьNoo way hahaha
You've also been shooting for Polestar the last Weeks!
Iv'e also coming up with a video of this shoot. We also shot a multilayer bucket shot haha.
have you heard about exposure bracketing ?
ОтветитьGreat to see some strobe photography in the car photography space! Fun tutorial!
Ответитьyou're my sweet little pumpkin.
ОтветитьI definitely want to give this a try. Also is it crazy that I am tempted to fly in for Buffer just so I can get my annual Chris & Lizzie selfie? 😂 Well it hasn't been annual since pre covid days LOL.
ОтветитьVery nice end result, but the technic is seriously overly complex, stacking the images and then changing the blend mode literally can do more than half the work for you and makes the masking so much easier and also provides smoother transitions between all the images.
Ответить237k subscribers and still can't be bothered to rake the stickers off her laptop. lol
ОтветитьBro what about lighten blend mode
ОтветитьHi Lizzie. Great video. Was wondering what kind of laptop you are using to edit the photo? Thanks.
ОтветитьThank you. If I could make a suggestion, it would be to go a bit slower. I'm proficient with portrait photography and photoshop, but not with the car equivalent. I'd love to see you describe which parts of the lights you were masking in and out and why. In the companion car shoot video it'd be cool if you discuss the point light source and how that works with the contours of the car panel (I'm assuming you don't want to see the light itself in the panel, so understanding the shooting angles would be great too). This may be obvious to a car photography enthusiast, but not so much for a newbie like myself. Thanks for sharing your knowledge
ОтветитьCan you link the godox gear that you’re using?
ОтветитьWhy limiting file size and using jpgs for your export? You’re already losing detail at the first step. Would recommend psd/tiff and adobe 1998 for the color space at minimum. Prophoto rgb and 16 bit at maximum
ОтветитьGreat video and the final image was excellent. Thank you for sharing your process.
ОтветитьLizzie, great video
ОтветитьI've light painted cars years ago and really enjoyed it. Been shooting natural light for photos and bringing in lights occasionally for feature car videos. Looking into getting a strobe here soon! Good video to see and kick the ambition in for me!
ОтветитьGreat video! What phone application did you use for adding the finale touches?
ОтветитьI think your MPB link is broken FYI :) awesome video BTW :)
ОтветитьWhich laptop are you using?
ОтветитьI have a car shoot coming up, this was amazing knowledge. Thank you
Ответитьwas this uploaded again? like removed and uploaded again
Ответитьgirly, the mbp link isnt working fyi
ОтветитьMpb link is wrong
ОтветитьHey Lizzie . Once again you are everything
ОтветитьAll that for so little,
Great photo but eh 😐
Technically brilliant, but the final image while OK and proved a point educationally, but didn’t stir my soul. I think there may be a positive point to discuss with this, sometimes the car / object isn’t jaw dropping, and sometimes you’re hamstrung when it comes to locations, so how do you create a great shot, or even a usable shot as a professional
ОтветитьSave a keybind and hold alt while you click the layer mask button, it will start inverted
ОтветитьHey Lizzie - Your link to mpb doesn't seem to be working
ОтветитьNext up, a driving car with shutterdrag and strobes.
ОтветитьGreat tips, I never knew so much went into car photography.
Ответитьi was like wait a minute didn't I watch this couple days ago? xD. you added the editing part in this. :D
Ответить☺️
ОтветитьFirst 🤙🏾 great tips!
