Not too long ago, we celebrated DJ Premier's 56th birthday. I wasn't prepared to make this video then, which is why it is here now. I am on a roll with “original” ideas!
The waveforms with the album covers is the editing technique I’ve been hyping everyone about! Let me know what you guys think!! I won’t be able to ad that to the 2000s “Best Rap Verses” video because all the clips are already compiled, and I would’ve to individually go one by one to create waveforms for each song, which I do not want to do. I will most likely do it for the 2010s & 2020s portions though!
Let me know what you think of the list (which you can se below). As with all of my lists, the order isn’t all that important. This list is about celebrating hip hop in all of its glory.

Please like, share, and subscribe for more music related content! I do cover more than just hip hop y'know!
This man is responsible for all my neck surgeries... way too much headbanging to epic Primo beats
ОтветитьHoly shit I ain't heard #48 in decades. I forgot all about that one.
ОтветитьHere's the proof is one of my favourites
ОтветитьPitch Black - It's all real was missing
ОтветитьFull clip34? Represent 33? R u smoking dust?
ОтветитьMouth Rushmore of beat makers definitely includes mo bee, Dre, and premier
ОтветитьI add screw ball seen it all
ОтветитьYour order is wild but enjoyed it all the same.
ОтветитьAll city - the actual
Ответить💣
ОтветитьKayne you are so lame man that not even the GOD OF ALL DJ's could help you .
ОтветитьMass Appeal and Unbelievable should be top five.
ОтветитьMathematics at 39 is pretty low. The beat is much more complex than meets the eye.
ОтветитьI don't have time to validate the list. But I know if Group Home - Sacrifice isnt in there. Its completely invalidated. Top5 Preemo beats.
ОтветитьCome Clean and DWYK have to be on that list
ОтветитьSome of these shouldn't be up here. sorry dude...
ОтветитьSorry but did i miss 'Come Clean' or summat, can someone confirm if 'Come Clean' is on this list? Its clearly Preems greatest track ever, no (or am I going crazy)?
ОтветитьI mean 'Supa Star' is simply within his top 2 beats, its so obvious?
ОтветитьThe curator of this collection has a different taste than I. The taste of the curator is of the easy to make Preemo beats where they all sound the same with the 8 step tempo
Preemo up till 2001 was classic but after that it was all the same. Preem is best when he makes Jazz based Hip Hop, thats where he came up, the later Preem was too predictable and the beats had no real flavour
Preemo is a big part of my youth and foundation. Love Preem. Jeru, Big Shug, Group Home, Dave The Great. RIP Guru
So much anger built inside I'm legend of my time 95 is mine
Daily Operation as a young boy, drifting through life lonely, played on the old panasonic feather touch
Enta Da Stage on side 2 tape and always running out of tape on 'Act Like You Want It'
Overcomplicated. Every song of his from the following are his greatest, done
- 'Sun Rises In The East'
- 'Code Of The Streets'
- 'Daily Operation''
- 'Livin' Proof'
'Come Clean' (regardless of who produced that) is BY FAR the most playbackable Hip-Hop track of all time.
'Supa Star' (regardless of who produced that) is in the top 5 most playbackable Hip-Hop tracks of all time.
'Sun Rises In The East' is in my top 5 all time albums, alongside 36 Chambers, Illmatic, Boom Bap, and Midnight Marauders, followed by Enta Da Stage and Infamous, its that simple done...
Good Lawd...Mathematics is a banger 💣💣💣
ОтветитьMy favorite beat is definitely Supa Star by Group Home
Ответитьgreatest producer ever
ОтветитьWheres AZ - The Format ???
ОтветитьDid I miss MASS APPEAL 😕
ОтветитьWhat about Gang Starr's Mass appeal?
ОтветитьDid I miss Biggie Unbelieavable
ОтветитьDJ Premier is a genius.
ОтветитьMass appeal, H.o.v.a. the blueprint 2 baby on the way, check the technique etc...
Ответитьi was hopin for "Aint the devil happy".. "Crooklyn Dodgers" and "N 2 Gether Now".. go listen again.. props tho.

ОтветитьYou judging the tracks/artist not the beat per sé.
“You” by Evidence
“Hip Hop”by Royce Da 5’9”
