What I think most people don't realize is Bi-Han wasn't really an asshole before turning into Noob. Some of these show that. Noob Saibot however is a massive asshole.

Bi-Han was never good, but he was innocent.

That robotic little shit went behind his back, and Quan-Chi framed him. Of all the people to die wrongfully, of all deaths to reneg or people to be saved, resurrected, or restored, Bi-Han's never was. His death was unjust, his execution wrongful, and while he was, perhaps, deserving in other ways, he was never saved from his fate as the others were.

They rebooted the timeline again just so they wouldn't have to remember and plan around "the name was grandfather's first" when writing the stories for new games. That's the kind of throwaway line that's easy to forget about and contradict.

Some of these themes could have been better explored in the story.

Really dont know how I feel about MK11's philosophy of "if he looks evil then make him evil" cause its always bothered me that characters who should respect or dare I say have love for Bi-Han just leave him to rot as Noob Saibot. Scorpion has found the true killer and took him down, Kuai Liang is his little brother for christ sakes, Raiden knows he isnt all bad and tried to save him before, and you think someone from his clan would try something for the guy but nobody does and they all just talk shit about him like he was horrid human being when its common knowledge at this point he was basically just a powerful lin kuei with ice powers who got framed. Seriously just bring Bi-Han back at this point and either flush him out before Noob Saibot to justify this hate or flush him out as Noob Saibot to show he isn't all bad when he can get past that revenant bullshit.
