This surpasses all, including the incredible recording with Shostakovich himself playing the piano. The expansion (via dynamic clarity and expressive tempo) reveals the heart of the mystery.
Ответитьdamn, young messi could do anything
Delicioso, majestuoso!, Bravo Daniil
Dreadful conducting.
BTW, the final movement orchestral “fugue” prior to the piano cadenza was the best ever.
Shostakovich: plays one note
Musicologists: is this a secret message?
I’m no musician of any kind but I am a listener. Shostakovich is a particular favorite. Translating his world view (more like a universal view!) into sounds using finite musical instruments. Free of pretense and full of independence. The listener emerges with a courageous outlook. (Check out his Lady Macbeth.) ⭐️
Academia Chopin 🇮🇷 ❤️🥉.
Gracias por mandarlo 🌹👋👋👋😔
La nueva generación de músicos. 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🇮🇷
Lo está logrando Trivonov. ,tan original 🤣 con trompetista
Rarely hear this in the concert halls. Its a masterpiece. Try to obtain the 1999 recording. The los Angeles philharmonic and maestro Yefim Bronfman
Probably would of enjoyed the piece. To bad everyone was dying in the background
Another of my numerous viewings. Wonderful music, wonderful playing terrific sound and picture. I LOVE this concerto, and the much underrated, and quite beautiful Concerto No. 2, whose 2nd movement moves me to tears every time. Thanks so much for posting this superlative video.
Marveling at the brilliant plays 👏👏👏
Ответить"let's listen to classical music"they said.
"It will be relaxing" they said.
😂😂I love this concerto.
Mission impossible..
This masterpiece gives me
great attraction beyond my
Imagination.
Shsotakovitch must be
valuable composer any
other than modern musician.
It is incredible performance.
I satisfy it
WOW what kick-ass trumpet work on the fourth movement. That was nuts!
One of the best performances of this concerto ever. Everything is perfect. Colour, timbre, dynamics, everything. I love the colours that Gergiev is able to pull from the orchestra. And the soloists, simply the best. Beautiful. Thank you.
BEST PERFORMANCE OF SHOST.1 I ever heard!!!
Excellent sound and dynamics, anyway it's a Concert for piano, trumpet (and what a trumpet!) and strings orchestra (and what strings and direction!).
Bravo to the pianist, the trumpet player, and orchestra. Superbly done.
Beautiful hands for the piano perfect shape (long and thin fingers) like Franz Lizst + interstellar talent = pianist superstar, every note is deliberately placed with the more surgical skilled balance between the fingers and hands. Danill lives the performance he is playing such artistry and conviction. wow so beautiful.
Please, what’s the trumpet player’s name?
Encore! -- And we got one!
This young Ruskie is a bit on the youthful side. Not bad though. Billy Joel would be proud.
I have always loved Shostakovich's sound. Gergiev and Trifonov have certainly played this concerto brilliantly!
Verdaderamente sorprendente y maravilloso.
The trumpet player is so cute😍😍😍😍😍
Ответитьso glad to see that mvt4 as the encore!! And Timur is amazing!
I heard this concert for the first time in 1993, played by Evgeny Kissin. I was so impressed that no other version will ever satisfy me. It made me forever a fan of both Sjostakovitsj and Kissin.
Playing trumpet like a boss, and piano, and directing as one, and the orchestra and even the audience... even me listening to this again and again...
